Cardinal Roger Mahony, Archbishop of Los Angeles, should be the subject of an epic Hollywood biomovie to document his uncanny ability to triangulate moral decadence, spiritual fraud, and craven greed into anti-American political activism.

Indeed, this meddling old man who fancies himself spiritually and morally superior to the unwashed masses, rarely misses an opportunity to outrage those who believe in homeland security, fortified borders, rule of law, and preservation of American sovereignty, language, and culture.

The out of touch elitist has a particular fondness for the 12-30 million "undocumented Catholics," otherwise known as illegal aliens, squatting in America right now.

Given his druthers, Mahony would legalize each and every one of the criminal invaders, and would place all of them on a fast track path to citizenship as well.

And what is the root cause behind Cardinal Mahony's benevolent disregard for America, and Americans, in deference to third world invading criminals?

Spiritual concern for the poor and downtrodden? Compassion for new comers simply looking for a better life? Healing and unity through forgiveness and assimilation?

Actually, his hollowness and the church he represents are motivated by an unholy obsession with green--as in cold, hard cash.

That obsession intensified dramatically with the recent disclosure that the Archdiocese of Los Angeles has agreed to pay the tidy sum of $660 million dollars in order to settle sex abuse law suits filed by victims/parishioners.

Turns out that hundreds of people were allegedly abused by priests whose crimes were then covered up by powerful church officials.

Therefore, Cardinal Mahony and his minions will have to write a check for nearly two thirds of a billion dollars to cover the scandals wrought by corrupt "Fathers," acting in the name of God, and their gutless and immoral leaders.

The total amount paid out by the U.S. church since 1950 is more than $2 billion, with about a quarter of that coming from the Los Angeles archdiocese.

As a result, intelligent American parishioners are leaving the church to escape the clutches of pedophiles and perverts who prey on the young and defenseless. Illegal aliens are desperately needed to replace those departing parishioners, and to bolster the church's dwindling cash flow.

The bottom line: Cardinal Mahony's bleeding heart foolishness in support of illegal aliens is more about cash debits and credits than right and wrong.

Given the scandalous record of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, when it comes to morality and decency, Cardinal Mahony would be well advised to just shut up!

Protestants and Catholics have been at "war" with each other for centuries. In the last twenty years I thought we had moved much closer. But with what the Catholic Church is doing to subvert the United States, the massive payouts--sometimes when there is no discernible damage--for perverted priests, the capture and corruption of the US labor movement, and the worldwide cultivation of anti-American sentiment in the name of Justice--------I am ready to say forget it.

I think the Cardinal should be more worried about keeping his own house in order.... i.e., the molestation of little boys within the Catholic church. Or better yet, help to end the molestation and murder of little boys and little girls by illegal aliens !!!!

Yes, Cardinal Mahoney needs to shut up. Now the pro-illegal scum that lurks here will scream to their little cohorts-"Look! They want a man of the church to shut up! They must be evil!" I think the pro-illegal babies ARE EVIL and should shut up too!

I told Mr. Joe Loya of the times I had e-mailed Cardinal Mahony and left phone messages, but NEVER got a SINGLE response. Mr. Loya then told me of his harrowing REAL-LIFE encounters with this traitor and it made me GLAD that I got NO answers from Mahony at all!
