[quote]CASABLANCA, MOROCCO — Nabil Sebti, a 25-year-old Moroccan graduate of HEC Paris, one of the best and most competitive business schools in Europe, has started two businesses in France, one while still a student and one just after graduation. It's almost as if all of these stories are written from some sort of template: whenever there is a push for for more guestworkers or more visas here, we see the same sorts of stories pop up here all over.

"So-and-so, from [nation x] did [fill in wonderful things here] but cannot stay here and [solve all of our problems] because of our [immigration/visa laws]. We simply must [open up the floodgates] now."

There is the crazy notion that these people contribute to economic growth. For every one who might, thousands merely occupy jobs that the locals can do and would love to do. And once they reach a critical mass in a company, or rise to the level where they influence hiring decisions, then it gets really obvious who's NOT going to be hired any more in their own land. Such discrimination is common and legal where these folks come from, and they bring it here with them.
