Now Is the Time to Donate to the Cause If You Haven't Yet

Just signed up for Alipac's membership. It's only $25 per year. I think that is very reasonable. Members can make a one-time donation instead of a yearly donation if they prefer.

I'm sure Alipac is going to need a good amount of funds to fight this huge battle. If you've got a little to spare, give it to a good cause!

You can find the donation page under "Announcements" - Sticky: ALIPAC Needs yor help in our new fund raising campaign! I used Paypal and it was really easy to do.

I've already given my $25 But remember, that is the minimum necessary to keep the gears turning. These folks spend lots of their time waging this battle, and they need to put food on the tables for their families too. Might want to consider sending a little something in addition to the $25 occasionally. Since this is a PAC, they can accept up to but not more than $5,000 from one individual over a year's period.

ALIPAC and the Minuteman Fence Project are the most worthy causes and not a bad way to spend your money!!

Though funding is always necessary, so many get into the habit of thinking they've done their duty by sending it. Your willingness to participate and to act are just as important, if not moreso.

And yes, this is a SHAMELESS plug for ALIPAC.

I hope after this mess is solved you all should be as fervent enough to gather funds and what not to alleviate world hunger. Frankly, it seems that people only care about a certain issue when it only concerns themselves.

Why is *my* money going for the basic education of an ILLEGAL child? Oh my, the injustice!
Heh. Just a little bit of sarcasm.

You're right Oblivion. I am new at "Activism" - Hunger and Poverty is another cause I'd like to contribute to now that illegal immigration has got me off my complacent arse.

I agree Concerned Veteran, I'll add to the contributions regularly.

    Good Luck All

Oblivion, your point is a very good one on the world hunger thing. But be cautious not to alienate those who already contribute to that cause as well. Trust me, I made a couple of careless posts on here which alienated me from some over similar statements - such as my post "No One Knows Their HISTORY Here??" The point I tried to make is in how government is adding deception into the history books which are either half-truths or untruthful in totality. The method I used to make the point raised the ire of many and was somewhat damaging to my credibility. People are human though, and we all make mistakes from time to time whether just citizen or a leader. Just that leaders get grilled on a hotter grill than others.

I am a monthly contributor to various hunger campaigns such as Food for the Hungry. While it is excellent that you seek to move people into assisting starving people, be cautious that you don't cause ill feelings in those who already do.

Part of the illegal immigration movement into the United States is hunger and corruption in other countries. Your comment, in this light, should be accepted with open arms and I personally do agree.

I have stopped contributing money to ANY organization for any reason who can't prove to me that they aren't passing on any portion of my money to an illegal alien or a potential illegal alien.

Excellent point. Same here. They get more than enough as it is. When I give now it's mostly to the humane society and charities that support the families of our troops. Care packages that go to our soldiers in Iraq is a great idea too.

Agreed, but Care packages to ALIPAC are just as important.

William, my money order is on the way! I'm too poor to have a Credit Card.
