Close the border, then we’ll talk

A letter to members of Congress:
Congress has an even lower approval rating than President Bush.
Congress has not seen to it that the Simpson-Mazzoli bill passed in 1986 was enforced or enforceable. For example, after Social Security notifies an employer that they have an invalid Social Security number, they are prohibited from taking any action.
Congress has allowed the executive branch to bottle up funds on the 700-mile fence. Only 12 to 14 miles of the fence have been completed to date.

I agree Jean. Close the borders. In fact we should maybe have a moratorium on all immigration until we reverse some of the damage that has been done to our country by uncontrolled immigration over the past years. Then we could start again with new rules.
