Bordering on fraud, Part III by Thomas Sowell
Bordering on fraud, Part III

Some people are worried that amnesty will give illegal aliens the same
rights that American citizens have. In reality, it will give the
illegals more rights than the average American citizen. Since most of
the illegals are Mexican, that makes them a minority. Under affirmative
action, combined with amnesty, they would have preferences in jobs and
other benefits. Those who set up their own businesses would be entitled
to preferences in getting government contracts. Their children would be
able to get into college ahead of the children of American citizens with
better academic qualifications...

I think it is time to do away with affirmative action, now it is the white people who are truly the minority here, dont jump my case, I am a miniority also, I just think it is time that everything goes back to merit, who is the best man or woman for the job, not who is the brownest, I know lots will be against me on this but Nitty speaks his mind just as everyone else does, I am in no way a racist, although after listening to concernedveteran on the difference between being racist and prejudiced, I know I am now prejudiced, I just feel that after all this time affirmitive action is a form of discrimination itself! bite me I don't care
