I also wonder how many bought these homes in order to rent them to illegal family members. I just know we have many rental units owned by a questionable citizen doing a job, that in no way, by logical thinking, could be enough to own 10 houses. I never noticed till they print the "housing code violations". A couple hispanics own them and all are violations of "multiple families in a single dwelling", illegal remodeling to make a basement into another apartment, inadequate heating or cooling to a garage illegally rented to a family, etc. you know like extension cords running from the house to the garage.....

It's just strange that it's become so easy when it was so hard for so many for so long to ever get a home. How can you go from section 8 apartments in the slums to a 600,000 home and nothings changed?
