Latin America is undoubtedly the most racial and ethnically diverse continent in the world. Latinos, whether we come from Latin America or descend from immigrants, have no homogeneous culture: we come in every conceivable shade under the skin rainbow. Our differences, these multiple identities are a testament to the absence of boundaries between us… and our differences only give more color and flavor to the rich tapestry of our culture.

Yet, despite all this variety and heterogeneity, Latinos in the US are often homogenized into one overarching “Latinoâ€

Do not mix illegals with legal. We do not support illegal immigration. We must reduce legal immigration. We open our doors to over 3 million legal immigrants each year. That is too many people. Which country open its doors to so many people? None. For us it is overpopulation. We have limieted resources and we cannot accept too many people. We have to reduce that number. And one more point against illegal immigration, the reason our health insurance costs increase every year is because illegal aliens get free health care. WE must not accept that. Enforce current immigration laws and illegals will leave.

It is all about being able to get to the public trough and make money under the table, whether it is landscaping or selling drugs - it is ALL cash. JMO

Stop confusing illegal Latino's with American Latino's and stop dividing yourself into racial groups, try just being Americans and doing what is in the best interest of America instead of one group of people seperate from other Americans.....

Believe it or not there are ALOT of Latino's who just consider themselves Americans and put their country first and foremost! The others are racists!

You are exactly right

This rhetoric on their part is getting old.

Illegal immigration has nothing to do with being an American of Latino descent, or a legal immigrant from a Latino nation. Anyone else is simply wanting to use the illegals here from Latin nations, for their own political gain, to get power for liberals who have used their Latino heritage to try to become a majority.

These people care very little for the true troubles illegals might face. If they truly care, they should be focusing in on the nations that these people come from, and take their experience, and educations down there, to better the lives of the people, and help preserve their national cultures where they exist, instead of trying to usurp our culture here and replace it with their own.
