    SWIMMING WITH SHARKS ALL DAY....

    Boy, am I really appreciating the safe haven this site is for me to express my views on illegal immigration.

    As I've mentioned to my friends here before, I post on several other websites (none having to do with illegal immigration though). And in the last few days, in an effort to wake people up, I've been posting topics about illegal immigration on one of these sites.

    And I'm EXHAUSTED from the debating. I'd say about 60% have been anti-illegal immigration and have jumped right in there with me, but the 40% who suppoort it are brutal. The most common response from them is to call me racist. But the worst part is the IGNORANCE, the rhetoric, and the propaganda they spout.

    Anyway, the fencesitters eventually saw my side, and I posted our link there, so I hope some good will come of this.

    NOTE: ALIPAC, please rest assured that I have NOT said anything racist in any of these posts, and I have not acted as a representative of ALIPAC. I have posted ALIPAC's link there, but I have not associated myself with ALIPAC during these debates. I think that's important because if I ever do mess up (which I don't think I did...I was very careful) and say something questionable, I don't want it to reflect on ALIPAC.


    But I need a break! I'm tired.

    It is exhausting beating your head against brick walls isn't it? Your efforts are greatly appreciated though. I hope some come to this site!

    ALIPAC,

    I've been debating illegal immigration on only one site so far, and I'm a little (okay, a LOT) embarassed to give you the link because it's just a silly website where people discuss lame stuff like the entertainment industry. Admitting I sometimes post there is like admitting I read People magazine.

    Anyway, there are three threads on illegal immigration on this site: two that somebody else started, and one that I started.

    The first one is entitled: "Undocumented Illegal Immigrants! Take this job and shove it." I DIDN'T start that thread, but I did jump in somewhere along the middle (page 13, I think). I started out just posting pictures of illegal immigration rallies and protests and a couple of cartoons, and then later I started debating. The next one is entitled: "The Invasion..We will Take Back our Land You Whiteys Stole". I didn't start that one either (obviously). And the last one (which I DID start) is entitled: "Did You Know". I think it's currently buried on page 2 or 3.

    Anyway, I post on that site as Marcia_Brady, not americangirl (I know you're rolling your eyes right now).

    It's late, and some of these threads might have dropped back on page 2 or 3 by now, but check them out if you're interested. You might find it entertaining.
