The Romney campaign joined forces with Rudy, Huck, and McCain in Louisiana. Their actions contributed to displacing Paul into second place and gave first place to McCain in LA. And that was before West Virginia, so...Quote:

:D :D :D Greg!
This is the last post I'll make to RP supporters
Its over and done , Most of us Romney supporters will never
support him in a million years , You can make all the post you
want in support of him , I won't answer to them or refute them
But I can never support him for his sellout to Huck
This is a terrible day in America , don't make it worse , I think the
last thing most of us want to do today is argue about RP
This is a Romney thread btw
We are suffering enough , don't make it worse
This dosent sound like a drop out speech to me ????
I agree Greg
Romney sounds very passionate and animated in his speech.
Just wish he had been more aggressive against McCain.
Oh well, maybe Romney decided this is not a GOP year, and can come back in 4 years.
I still will have a very hard time voting for McCain. Don't think I can.
A number of sources say he's going to 'suspend' not quit his campaign. I wonder what that means? Looking forward to a brokered convention? McCain has plenty of time and opportunity to slip up, that's for sure.
Why would he quit now?
this is funny because you would of never supported Paul, regardless on his stance on illegal immigration. You are just using the WV as a lame excuse. But what was done to paul in louisiana was even worse.Quote:

I didn't agree either with these deligate dealings but if I new Paul could win in the Geneal election I would Vote for him even though I don't agree with every one of his views. Actually it is more acurate to say Not many of his views. But If He is all we got for now then I will get behind him, But I don't think he has what it takes to get enough votes in the general election unfortunatly :oops:Quote:

WASHINGTON - John McCain effectively sealed the Republican presidential nomination on Thursday as chief rival Mitt Romney suspended his faltering presidential campaign. "I must now stand aside, for our party and our country," Romney prepared to tell conservatives.
why the big surprise?? this was a given.. mitt romney stood NO chance at all, it was a just a matter of deciding how much more money he was willing to waste in something that was never gonna happen. I think this is the GREATEST news I've heard all day
Oh Geeez
He is

We need to deal with LaRaza and make sure they don't shut down our public voice speaking out for our side.
This we can get through, if we lose congress we can not win the war.
He released his speech to the press beforehand.Quote:

YES! We all have our difference of opinion on the presidential race but if there was ever a time for us to come together...IT IS NOW!Quote:
