We hear everyday about how the financial cost of having high influx of illegals in an area. But I just want to warn you to pay close attention and react early to prevent what has happened to a beautiful town in California from happening in your home town.

We lived in a town north of San Diego California named Temecula. Temecula is a master planned community. Everything was basically new. No such thing as an old run down neighborhood because it was all developed in a short time period. Now it was not as expensive as some of the well know close areas like Rancho Bernardo, or Carmel Mountain Ranch, but nice clean boulevards, new schools, and great family neighborhoods, new parks, and all new shopping areas. Easy driving to ocean, mountains, or desert. Absolutely not a town that was on the edge with already some bad areas. We left in 2000 for job related move. No real troubles with illegals at the time. This was a town that I would have bet would never get run down in short time.

Now I am learning that Temecula/Murrieta area has been hit hard by influx of illegals. One person estimated that 50% now are non-citizen. In some cases they purchase large homes in nice neighborhoods and make eight or ten bedrooms and all live together. It looks like the Temecula area is in real trouble.

So, if you have any hint that day work centers are coming in, or other warning signs.....jump your town officials and take immediate action. A nice town is a lot to lose.
