Obama/Pelosi: Screw consent of the governed when it comes to

    federal health insurance!

Let us look at the facts!

Obama care proposes to create a federal insurance regulatory board to regulate health insurance companies now regulated under State authority. In view of the fact that no authority has been granted to the federal government under our existing Constitution allowing the federal government to enter the various states and regulate the subject matter in question, every member of Congress voting in favor of Obama Care would be violating their oath of office and voting to usurp a power forbidden by our Constitution’s Tenth Amendment.

The irrefutable fact is, the People of the various States have not given their consent via Article V of our Constitution granting power to Congress to enter the States and regulate State created insurance companies. And, keep in mind that granting new powers to Congress under Article V of our Constitution requires consent of the people by the “Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof“ - - - not a simple majority vote in Congress which the Democrat party leadership and Obama is attempting to use to seize such power, and as such, is an unmistaken attempted act of tyranny!

Obama care also proposes to use federal taxing authority to tax the people in every state to increase Medicaid funding in every state. In addition, Obama’s plan would also provide extra funding to states that have expanded their Medicaid programs. But where in our Constitution has Congress been granted power to tax the economic resources away from the people in the various states in such a broad and encompassing manner and for the purpose of returning this very money for a subject matter not within Congress’s constitutionally authorized functions? Again, every member of Congress voting in favor of Obama Care is violating their oath of office and voting to usurp a power forbidden by our Constitution’s Tenth Amendment.

Obama care also proposes to use the force of federal taxation to provide subsidies for a privileged economic class in each of the various states so they may “buyâ€

Thank You so much. You so elegantly put what I have been trying to say. Most everything that government is doing now is against the "peoples Law" also known as the nearly dead and defacto Constitution for the United States.

So if given as true...what is it when a POTUS demands that the House pass a none constitutional binding conforming bill?

This is absolutely amazing! Such an important issue and such little interest across the nation. Seems that a large number of Americans are comfortable keeping silent and have no problem with the federal government entering their State and assuming a despotic and absolute regulatory power not authorized by our federal Constitution.

I wonder if they will also be quiet when our folks in Washington decide that since the people have been complacent in allowing a despotic federal insurance regulatory board to be created to replace their State’s insurance regulatory board, what is not left within the State for the federal government to seize a tyrannical regulatory power over? How about a state’s utility regulatory commission, or its power to regulate its own schools, parks, public roads and highways, or even your local entertainment establishment or favorite restaurant? Do you want Obama and Pelosi regulating that too? What is not left on the table for the federal government to regulate, and do so with an iron fist, and without such power being consented to as required under Article V of our Constitution which calls for consent of the people via the “Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof“, and not a simple majority vote in Congress which our folks in Washington are now attempting to use to seize a federal invasive regulatory power over a subject matter not granted to Congress by our written Constitution?

Were our founding fathers not clear in their desire to create a federal government with defined and limited powers as are summarized in Federalist No. 45?

[b][i]“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected.

The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.â€

Thanks John. I can at least be comforted in the fact that I do not stand solely at the brick wall, and repeatedly contact it with my forehead.

Absolutely shocking is a long way from what I feel. Blood is shooting out of my eyes. This string is pure gold. I hope all that find it can understand how importing this issue is.

As my room name implies and in my sites below...I feel there is not a more important issue than understanding what has and is happening to OUR Constitution. I think that it was usurped when they incorporated the USA and took it as articles of incorporation changing the for to of. But the "dead horse" keeps rearing it's ugly head to the chagrin of our socialistic government.

Before the birthers and the birther queen ravaged my interest in Article II for requirements for POTUS I wrote, talked and yelled and did all I could to stop the ridiculous question of birth certificate before BO was elected. Sure it is valid but not nearly as much as the question of constitutionally defined requirements to POUTS.

I have been stomped under foot by nearly all that I pose these questions to falling into the category of nut job, birther, racist and all the rest.

There simply should be no argument on the requirement issue.

    1. The constitution has POTUS requirements.
    2. They have not been applied.

The ONLY THING that made this country great is our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights.

NOW...after years of siege the stripping away of these documents and usurping of the Peoples Law, the country is on its knees.

But what is the answer that the country is clamoring for? A continuation of the Socialistic agenda that has brought us here!!!! They ask for further destructing of our peoples law.

We know what made us great. We know what would make us great again. Is there any sense in not bring it back? In not protecting it...the most important document ever written in this country or any country...how can this happen?

You cannot make sense out of none sense and that is what is being fed to the people...AND THEY APPLAUDE!

I really hate it. But I thank so much for your post. You can be assured that I will post, e and send it to every available ear within my limited ability to reach. If you could U-Tube post it that would be so wonderful. I forwarded it to Dirtyunclesam.com. Bruce may post or video it there. You should talk to him.

    Keep the faith...

There was a reporter at the Wailing Wall. He spied a very old man and went to talk to him. He asked "how long have you prayed here..." "87 years I have come here 3 times a day to pray..." Stunned the reporter asked "And are your prayers being answered...?" In a quite and feeble old voice he said... "I can only hope thy are...but most of the time I feel like I am praying to a block wall...!"

Hopefully, if this monster of a bill passes, it will be tied up for years in constitutional challenges.

I have heard that a lot. Even the Dems claim "we will fix it right away at the next meeting..." What ever that means. But what damage will be done before the legalese is over. This bill simply cannot be passed.

    I appreciate reading this all.

    Psalms 91
    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
