Obama Says Recession Requires Scaling Back Promises

Geez No One saw this coming!!! I mean Obama has been truthful and great about everything even his own Life story his birth, his upbringing, his school and medical records! We should expect no more surprises like this in the coming years!!

Jan. 11 (Bloomberg) -- President-elect Barack Obama said reviving the U.S. economy will require scaling back on his campaign promises and personal sacrifice from all Americans.

“I want to be realistic here, not everything that we talked about during the campaign are we going to be able to do on the pace we had hoped,â€

Obama also said in the interview recorded yesterday that he wants stricter guidelines and greater transparency in spending the remaining $350 billion in the Troubled Asset Relief Program.

Why just the remainder of the funds? I think we deserve transparency and accountability as to where the first half went.

The initial group that should have skin in the game are the illegal aliens who have taken jobs and those coming in on work visas, humiliating the American workers they replace by forcing Americans to train these low-priced usurpers. The construction industry should not be singled out as the first for job creation, as a large percentage of the workers these days are illegals. Driving down the major commercial roadways, so many businesses have closed up leaving huge holes in strip malls and stand-alone properties. We certainly need no more housing as so many are sitting empty and being vandalized because the owners got screwed by the banks. The rapid need for more school buildings is only because there are so many illegals not paying taxes with 5,8,10 anchor babies we pay to educate and feed.
We really don't need to build anything from the ground up anymore, until we can recycle those residential and commercial buildings to some sort of use. I would be very happy if local colleges and universities would consider giving courses in places other than their campuses, or public entities spreading out meetings around the community for convenient public input. The infrastructure is there, and there are plenty of gifted architects that could show their mettle taking on some of these projects.
Let's see, about 2.6 million jobs lost in 2008, not to mention those that have given up, and those needing full-time while working part-time (because the employer is not going to be straddled with insurance and pension costs), businesses announcing layoffs every day if not dismissing everyone as they close their doors, once the situation gets so critical that Americans have a hard time putting food on the table, there will absolutely be no job an American won't do. We did them before and will do them again.

Well it was pretty stupid of Obama to promise anything considering the economy. This is no suprise to me. I wish we were about to inaugurate Barr, Baldwin, or Paul. We would defenitely be heading down a brighter path.

Come on, we all Obama wants to give every illegal alien down to the last child a free Ipod and broadband access. How else do you think he is going to so call stimulate the economy?

Obama says there will be cutbacks for programs, services, benefits and other resources for Americans but not for the 400 billion annually spent on illegal alien health care, welfare, food stamps, education, birthright citizenship and other benefits. Hillary care will result in more health care for illegal aliens while our veterans, senior citizens and other struggling Americans will be left to tumble in midstream as always. Where are the shared sacrifices from all Americans which Obama promised? The only ones forced to sacrifice will be what remains of middle class America who will live in poverty and despair losing what they have accumulated through hard work and sacrifice including their dreams to those illegally here who this government believes should be the "New America".
There is no freedom without the law. Remember our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live in freedom.

Ron Paul needs to leave the republican party and team up with Baldwin, infact alot of republicans should leave and join the Constitution party.

Note: The Constitution party has seen a rapid increase in size after the November Elections and is now one of the fastest growing parties in the US.

This must be unnerving the Dems, especially but probably alot of the RINOs too.

And they are NOT going to like this one bit. The question is, how far will they go to stop it?
