Immigration sweeps?
http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_6511674
Stuff like this kills me. They boast about how they've caught a whole 48 of them. As if they can't figure out where they're all hiding.
ICE, go on down to your local health department where they have illegals ON FILE on computer systems,, names, addresses, telephono and all. How about start at the local school district? How about stopping by an local hospital or maternity ward clinic? These people are registered for public services -- we already HAVE their so-called fake names and numbers!
GEEZ, is it really that hard?

It's a step in the right direction.
I agree it's late in coming and it seems as though they're only taking baby steps, but at least something is beginning to happen. That's the way I look at it.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I agree, it is a step in the right direction, but the answer is so painfully obvious. When our own government KNOWS where these people are, when they are registered on the dole . . . why not just go there?
I just wonder if stories like these are meant to pacify us. If they were truly serious about it, they'd know where to go to roust them out.

They're not serious, so they do these token things.
They want us to merge with Mexico, so they could not care less about deporting illegals.

Our federal government including many politicans are not trying to clear up the illegal problem. If they were serious they would start going to 7-11s, bank of america on Fridays, home depot, construction sites and start checking IDs. they would pick up many of them at those sites.

Yea like its a surprise where the illegals are? I can point out houses corners and stores they hang out at! The best resource for these government agencies are the citizens!!!

this is a new program in Colorado. Most local Colorado authorities are just now trying to figure out how to work with ICE to get illegals deported.
It would be helpful if you take the time to thank the Colorado State Patrol for the busts. Its small by our standards but big in terms of a bust in Colorado by a local law enforcement agency. 303-239-4532AMERICAN WORKERS FIRST -- A RAID A DAY KEEPS THE ILLEGALS AWAY

Elvira's holed up in a church in Chicago thumbing her nose at the feds daily. The whole world knows where she is, she's a double felon, and she's making a mockery of our laws.
