It's all about OIL isn't it?
Why is Bush and his cronies selling out America? I'm wondering if OIL is the most logical answer. I don't believe it's "to fill the jobs Americans won't do".
From http://countrystudies.us/mexico/93.htm "For its part, the United States gives serious consideration to its relations with Mexico because of Mexico's strategic location on the United States southern border as well as the fact that Mexico has the largest oil deposits in Latin America."“Homeland Security? What Homeland Security ?”

Yea, I guess Bush and his buddies want to drill it some day. That's his retirement fund.

Maybe Bush will come up with a fictious map of Oilmexmerica. He will let the invaders have their Aztlan as long as he can have his Oimexmerica --- which can become a new state that he can become dictator, oops, I mean governor of...
It's ALWAYS about the oil with him. And just look at those prices at the pump and it tells you what happens when oilmen run the government.

Almost every event right now is connected to oil. I have no doubt that oil is the bargaining chip Fox is using or attempting to use. The best position for the US to take on this is blow him off. Mexico's largest oil field Cantrell has hit it's peak production and is in decline. That would be the world's second largest giant oil field right after Ghawar in Saudi. Mexico will no longer be an exporter of oil within the next five to 10 years.

One step in the right direction for the US would be to reduce it's population by say... 20 million people via deportation.
Beware though, right now we send a lot of money to Mexico for oil. They are our second largest source right after Canada. When they no longer have the oil to sell in five to ten years, what do you think Mexico will look like? It will be an absolute disaster. That's why Fox wants to get rid of so many people so fast.

Here's an article on Mexico's oil situation. When this one goes we better have a lot of troops at the border...
Cantarell is one of the world's great oil fields; only Saudi Arabia's Ghawar field is larger. It was discovered in 1976 and has been a workhorse ever since.
"It's a supergiant field, so when you have a supergiant field declining, it's very difficult to compensate for that," said Adrian Lajous, a veteran oilman and the director of state-owned Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) from 1995 to 1999. "Cantarell has peaked and has started its decline."
Cantarell's output of 2 million barrels per day last year accounted for about 60 percent of Mexico's output of 3.3 million barrels daily. It's been pushed hard in recent years to take advantage of high global oil prices. Cantarell's production rose from 1 million barrels per day in 1994 to a peak of 2.13 million in 2004.
