He says it's hard for employers to know who is legal and who is not? Has he ever heard of passports? birth certificates? (and similar documents). The problem is employers don't bother to check and some outright use fraudulent soc sec numbers!
And his facts on the economy are just misleading and or misinformed. The 4.7% unemployment rate does not count stay at home parents, the underemployed, those looking for a job who have not filed for unemployment, or all the illegals that have no job!
He said wages were up, I believe, 4%? I don't know anyone whose wages are up 4%. I know lots of people whose wages no longer keep up with cost of living. Graham is not on the same planet as Sessions and the others on the devastating effects that this bill will have on our economy. Someone needs to pop his bubble or take away whatever he's on that's making him trip fantastic.

Sen. Graham is not only a traitor to this country, but full of it. I'm tired of hearing about how we would all be groveling in our own feces if not for the hard work of illegals. How all illegals contribute so much to our country and never use any services, how they are all assimilated and speak English, what a load of crap.

Let him come to my hometown and see all the cars with Mexico license plates at the welfare office. Let him come try and get ER care at the local hospitals without having to wade through a sea of Mexicans who don't speak a word of English. Women with bellies about to pop, all with another dozen little Mexi-rugrats around their ankles, none speaking a word of English. Let him come and see all the Mexican gang banger grafitti on every exposed surface. Let him try to sleep at night with the sound of police sirens, gunshots and Mariachi.

But oh wait, he lives in a gated community, with security guards, all safe and protected from the masses of illegals destroying our cities, turning them into the same slum barrios that they claim to be escaping from.

As was said these miserable excuses for senators are insulated from the daily struggle of living the middle class life in America. All the negative issues that we identified to them are ignored, as they don't care. The only thing they listen to is corporate America calling on their congressional johns to perform more tricks. Now I hear Specter talking about immigrants that came here at the turn of the 19th century. He doesn't mention they were legal. He is a lawyer and thus should know the difference between legal and illegal. What was really amazing was when Kennedy (I see a horse's posterior when he is on the floor) was asked by Grassley if the CBO estimate includes the 11,000,000 that are already here; Kennedy had no answer. As with all illegal alien adovcates he danced around the subject. These senator's with the exception of a noble few are so intent on wrecking the economy and flushing this country down the the third world toilet. As I mentioned in another forum I am Jewish. I will be renewing my passport and will probably immigrate to Israel as they give citizenship to Jews. I will not stand by and watch a country that I served for 24 years and fought for turn into a third world barrio with all my income going to taxes to support illegal aliens while American citizens are standing on corners peddling fruits and vegetables as all the jobs are taken by H1B and H2A holders.

Mostly overlooked are our young people that used to fill the lower end jobs in construction and other industries. Somehow they have adapted and live very much like the illegals. They live off others, work for cash and do other stuff, have no papers, pay no taxes. It's is amazing to see a good part of the generation in their late twenty's living like this in America.
