AZ Senator Russell Pearce Give His Thoughs

I am a regular John & Ken listener and heard Pearce on the show. He is a great legislator and very courageous -- a real hero to the movement. Having that said that I think he was shellshocked by the ruling and he sounded very much as if he was in denial. Even John and Ken were taken aback by his comments.

The fact is that Judge Bolton gutted the law. There are only bits and pieces left -- and no teeth among them.

All we can do is hope that Arizona sends its best and brightest legal minds into the next battles. First will be the Ninth "Circus" Court of Appeals in San Francisco. I can tell you right now they will uphold Bolton's ruling and probably do even more damage.

The final step, of course, will be the Supreme Court. Hopefully common sense will prevail there by a 5-4 vote (deo volente).
