Thread: Thanks for Everyone's Efforts so far, don't give up!

We're from different states and even different countries. Some of us live a hundred miles from anywhere, some of us live in crowded cities. We're grandfathers, teenagers, mothers, neighbors. Some of us work, some of us are retired, some of us stay home and take good care of our children.

We hold varying opinions on many issues, politics, religion, sexual mores, how to raise our kids, which brand of car to purchase. But the issue that inspires us to action is right here in front of us and we have worked hard to keep America from being splintered, weakened, and corrupted.

There's much ahead of us, and yet so much we have accomplished already. Our voices have reached out to influence those who are in power to change what is happening. We WILL succeed ! Though traitors keep trying to sell out America we shall not let them do so without a fight!

But even patriots need a break now and again for a day of relaxation, a day for enjoying simple pleasures. Let's stop and smell the roses today, listen to the birds singing, hug a child or pet a cat. Smile. BIG SMILE !!! (There, I knew you would feel better...) By the way, these flowers are for YOU !

What a nice sentiment and the same back to you. We are going to try to let off some built-up steam this weekend too. Ironic that this mess came about right before Memorial Day.

Thanks Justsayno.......you enjoy your weekend too. I'm releived the House shut this down and now are on break themselves because it would have been a travesty to have something like that nonsence pass on this holiday.

If our ancestors had given up we would be under British rule, if we would have given up during WWII we would be speaking German or Japanese. I will never give up. Only under perseverance can we succeed. I just lost my Father a WWII vet on the 8th of May. I will remember and regroup this weekend but I will never sway from my goal. I will continue to call, Fax, march and inform my fellow Americans of the travesty that is occurring in our great nation. Every time we gain one person then that person inurn informs another we grow. It’s that growth that will make us victorious, talk to people express your fears and concerns. Send them here so they can learn. Hold there hand and tell them they are not alone and we will win the war. We may loose a battle or two but we can win the war and will. We need to campaign against people who voted for this trash come election time. I don’t care what parties they are with we need them out. Like Ron Wyden and Gordon Smith here in Oregon have to go. I will call every radio station and keep there back stabbing names in the public eye as the vermin they are. That Is My pledge. This is my country, my fellow Americans and my land. We the people can beat the elitists that will not listen. We can get them out of power and replace them with like minded people that share our views, it just takes commitment. It can be done. It will be done.
