    Flippers Beware

Watching house flipping shows is a nightmare. You start to see a pattern of contracters ripping off house flippers and the contractors they hire use ILLEGAL LABOR. odd...

this might be sort of common sense but here i go:
IF A CONTRACTOR BREAKS THE LAW BY HIRING ILLEGAL CHEAP LABOR WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THEY WON'T TRY AND RIP YOU OFF?

The whole system is now rotten, from top to bottom. Those who aren't, are far outnumbered by those who are, which makes it hard to do anything, or trust anyone.

Unfortunately all new home builders and restorers use illegals as their labor pool here in the lonestar state. My sister is now in upstate NY and she is amazed that they have Americans doing construction work.
We need to hold these people accountable. Why are the builders allowed to get away with this?

I agree.. the guys doing the sheet rock in my office building in FB just 'disapeared' one day and our floor looks awful. They hired a new crew, but still no english.

I asked one guy how much he makes an hr and he said $7.50 (he just said that and nothing else, the other guy just said 'yea' to everything) an insane amount to pay for that type of work.
