    OUR VOTE --- IMPORTANT!!!!!

I do not know how many Republicans are aware about how compromised our vote is with the touchscreen machines. These machines are made by Diebold and yes they can be rigged and yes Bush did not legitimately win in 2000 and possibly in 2004 though that has been the spin. It is vERY IMPORTANT for the American people to be able to vote and have their vote count. But if the people who are in power ( the corporations ) and who want to stay in power ( meet the new boss, same as the old boss might mean the Democratic Party could win and have the same hidden agenda at heart as the Republican Party ) control the voting machines then no matter how angry Americans are on illegal immigration or on the war n Iraq ( or any new war ) or any other number of issues, unless it furthers the globalist agenda it will be voted down and the spin will be made to appear as if it is what the American people want.
We need to have a pen and paper and a non-partisan watchdog overseeing our votes. Regardless of what political party we belong to, Americans want the person who got the most votes to be the one who wins.
Al one has to do is look at the MSM and see how they are slanting this issue of illegal immigration to make it appear as if most Americans are for it when that is a lie. So if we all went to the polls and voted en masse for candidates who are for closed borders and enforcement of our laws on illegal immigration and they all ( or most of them ) lost then the press would spin and call those candidates racists. Even if those candidates would WIN these machines could fix it so that they would lose.
I got a stupid letter from Ted Kennedy in which he say that a poll said 63% were for the illegals. We all know that is not true! Try 80% or more against them!
So make voting reform an issue and let's ditch those machines and have a fair vote!
Along the same line, how about NO tv ads for political offices but debates between candidates concerning the issues on major and PBS stations? As long as our politicians can be bought they will not work for the American people but for the fat cats that can pay them.

That is exactly why I removed myself from politics years ago. Fraudulant voting polls and results, Electorial votes, and the complete lieing shames the politicians put on. And seem to never be truely held accountable on.

I agree with you. I persoanly believe each candidate should be given a certain amount of money to run. Everyone gets the same amount. Every canidate gets the same amount of TV and radio time as well. It all needs to be rolled back. No private contributions to the personal campains. Unless it is done kitty style were all candates get their funding from the same pot.

The regulators need regulated. Put a damn choke chain on all of them, a leash. A pat on the head and send them off to work...

I think all of them should have to watch "Lou Dobbs" and then stand up,On National TV, and tell us how they feel about each Topic/Video.

Yea, voting is great but if someone's in the background manipulating the results, then we're no better than some third world country who is locked up in civil war becuase of a voting dispute.

I don't agree with bringing other nations in here and having them monitor our election. But what we could use is a receipt system were, when you vote, you get a reciept and an extra reciept is created for the paper trail. The electronic voting would be used to tally quickly, but if there was a dispute afterwards, then the paper trail is in place.

Oh, but no, they can't accept this, it prevents them from cheating. Reminds me of a bunch of spoiled brats who'd stop at nothing to get their way. Only their habits can be really dangerous when they become adults.

I just do not trust the machines, even the ones with the paper trails. The exit polls have shown us in the past that who people think they are voting for isn't necessarily what the results end up being. I think a paper ballot with a carbon copy would be good, one that people could tear off and take with them. But as long as it is done with computers then the fix can be in the machine.
There are other problems as well such as ballot stuffing, registering dead people or illegals ( or mabe someone's pet ), some guy bragged online he voted about 20 times in 2004 in one of the ngs I go to. There were reports of freebies to homeless people, things like that.
And I agree that each candidate should be given a certain amount of money. These are supposed to be OUR public SERVANYS. Instead it is a rich man or woman's game and it is huge corporations who often ( more often than not ) do not have the public's good in mind merely their own greedy profits.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights aren't broke so we don't need to fix THEM but we should need to fix some other things out there such as the lobbys for the rich corporations that leave the working class and the middle class American out in the cold, the illegal immigration issue and all sorts of other things. We the people truly need to take our country back. And I believe in US. I believe we can.

Need to be vigilant (and I don't know how) for voter registration fraud by the illegals. You recall that voter registration is conducted concurrently with the mob demonstrations.

It's been well documented many times on this web site that the illegals use multiple counterfeit IDs to avoid traffic court (gives them criminal immunity). One registered illegal can bring to bear over 30 fraudulant voting identities to the polls at different precincts.

The Communist front organization, La Raza, will instruct the illegals who to vote for. You can bet your paycheck that the illegals will be directed to vote for the most left leaning candidates. It would take a resurrected Joseph Stalin to go to the left of Hillary - she's a card carrying Communist and Stalinist. I can speculate they wouldn't mind directing their voters to John McCain either, since he's gone off the far left deep end.

Although it's been well documented in past California elections that illegals vote Democrat, neither party is speaking up against voter registration fraud. Guess John McCain thinks is can pursuade the Communist La Raza organization to swing over to his campaign.

Candidates so far, are a "win win"* for the Communists (La Raza):

    Democratic Primary:
    Hillary
    John "The Poodle" Kerry
    Cindy Sheehan

    GOP Primary:
    John McCain

    * The term "win win" was invented in Bangalore, India, by Tata in order to fool the American public into believing that outsourcing creates more jobs than it destroys.

What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

Yes, absolutely we need to get together and do something about voter fraud. Lyndon Johnson, here in Texas used to be a marvel at stealing elections. After the election Johnson/Goldwater which was such a landslide for Johnson I couldn't believe it. So, I began to poll people in the public place where I worked and talked to dozens of people every day...and then when I went overseas I asked dozens more people...my interest lasted for about ten years...but, the interesting thing was that I NEVER found ANYONE who voted for Johnson. You'd think with such a landslide I'd have found ONE.????

I think I'll ask Tx. Rep Ron Paul how we should go about stopping fraud. I'll bet he has some ideas on the subject.

In Arizona they don't even have to prove they're here legally to vote...hmmmm...here, I have to show my voter card and also my drivers license..two pieces of ID in order to vote.

I'm like the rest of you...I smooth don't TRUST the machines.

    Read all about it here:

    http://www.votescam.com

About fifteen years ago I was assigned to guard the vote counting in a western county. I am ex law enforcement and volunteered for the job with a good friend.

The paper on the count room that was pasted over the little rectangular windows like alot of Government buildings have fell down.

We saw the League of American Voters, little old ladies, take the punch card ballots out of the precinct boxes and place them in trash bags.

They then took out punch card ballots from boxes that already had been punched and counted them with the machines.

We both were shocked by what happened but were afraid to do anything about it because of the thugs that were supervising the whole situation. We feared for our lives so we took a smoke break and when we came back the paper was back up.

A certain Senator won the election that polls showed did not have a chance.

We both contacted the media anonymously but all they wanted to know was our names. We both resigned because we feared for our lives and have contracts out on us in that county by my former agency.

I can tell you that this goes on all over the nation.

We need to go back to paper ballots with the X handwritten in by the voter. They cannot be easily forged like the new automated systems.
Is this Mexico or the USA

Mustangjo, so funny you should mention LBJ. We lived in South Texas when I was a small child. My brother was born in the infamous 'Duval County'- infamous for its voting 'practices'.

My Grandmother always said, about LBJ, I knew Lyndon Johnson when the stole his 'first' election.

Also, the federal government is doing all they can, I believe, to install these voting machines.

My home is in a small county - population wise - but not so small - area wise. As most counties do, there are several polling places - some even in stores out in the country.

It seems our country got a 'grant' from the federal government under the 'Help American Vote' or some such thing. There was only enough money to purchase, rent, get, whatever, 2 of the electronic machines - so guess what the county decided to do - close all the polling places except 2. Some people would have to drive 40 or more miles, one way, to vote.

We were out of town at the time, as we work 'on the road' for extended periods of time and I am not active in the town anyway - but I think I might have tried to interject a little common sense in this situation.

Probably less than 2000 people voted in the last election. How long does it take to tally 2,000 votes by hand? Why do little places like that need electronic machines? Because the politicians need them.

So, we have to understand our vote counts little - but we should still participate - it might make a difference.

The only thingeally have any control over is our money, and precious little there. Spend it where it does the most good - that includes everything - not just against the illegals - although right now it is the most pressing thing - but everything else in this country.

Scottydog, that's a good site...and I plan to follow up on it as that is one of my deepest concerns.

I've been convinced since '64 that we don't get the people we vote for.
