The new policy may conservatively cover as many as 800,000 - 1.4 million illegal aliens. Tell the President and Congress: Congress is responsible for establishing immigration laws. For Obama to impose an amnesty that he could not get through Congress is undemocratic. Millions of Americans are unemployed. Issuing work permits to almost a million illegal immigrants worsens the plight of unemployed American citizens and legal immigrants. Each new amnesty scheme encourages more illegal immigration. We must enforce our immigration laws, not ignore them.
