    Lott says they think they will get the votes

    The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Sen. Lott thinks they will get the votes. The quote is mixed in with the story of Sen Hutchinson voting no.

    "I think we're going to get it," Lott said. "But senators have a way of changing their minds, and things tend to slide one way or the other.

    This quote motivated me even more. How can these Senators be so out of touch? It may be that they are not, just bought and paid for.

    just noise from a total jackass who's very worried his career is over in about 5 years.

    The situation is fluid, so we must absolutely keep the pressure on! And Sean Hannity had Trent Lott on the defensive yesterday. Lott sidestepped basic question of why can't we just enforce existing laws now??! So keep on going! Calls, faxes, e-mails, visits to local senate offices if possible -- everything we can do to make the will of the American people heard!
