    This guy is a Sheriff? The only person you can blame is the shooter. He is mentally ill. There is nothing the system could have done to help him. You can only Baker Act him hold him to assess the problem and if during that time they do not see him as a threat to himself or others they have to let him go. Does this Sheriff also believe playing violent video games cause teens and young adults to go and kill people or those who go and watch a violent moive will copy it? He should know better. Several times a year mentally unstable people in this country go on a shooting rampage. How many times have we seen that in schools, the workplace and churches? Is this sheriff going to blame that on the media too? It is well know that major causes of homicides are drug or gang related followed by domestic related ones. Then you have the nuts cases which comprise of a small percentage overall.
