    What are the SCHOOLS teaching?

Is it true that many of the schools encouraged the students to protest? Isn't that sending the wrong message - breaking the law is O.K.? Please, someone tell me I am wrong!

Josh, I've heard something to that effect. Some of the "educators" seem to think it's cute that the teenagers are protesting for their "rights." I think the educators watched one too many 1960s era protest and civil rights documentaries and think that the same thing is happening. I don't understand why Americans of African descent are not more outraged at the parallels they are trying to draw with their own struggle.

Josh, the ABC-7 talked the kids here in El Paso, TX into protesting last night on the evening news-- actually they made mention that everyone was protesting, why not El Paso!

So, today kids walked out of several high schools to protest. Some went to the International Bridge.

There was at least one "indicent" where a park ranger at the Chamizal national Memorial got sprayed with something slimy all over his clothing. I call that assault.

But the school board decided that, since they were "peaceful" they would just be marked "absent" or "tardy.''

They should all have been expelled, in my opinion. And those who are illegals (and there are way too many in the high schools here who are) should be kicked out permanently.
