Thread: The Real Change we Need in this country

And I'm not talking the kind Obama's talking about.

For one, I feel many things need to change if we are to avoid this illegal invasion, now and, in the future.

1. Our educational system - back to one that teaches true American history, is unapologetic about it, and actually TEACHES kids to think for themselves -- just to think, period.

2. Our political system.

3. Our moral compass. Less greed, more family oriented, less big business, more small town, local governance that takes the will of the People into account.

4. Get back to government By the People and For the People.

5. Eliminate entitlements and an entitlement mindset.

What else?

1) Term limits - Prevents careerism, impedes the ability to buy votes

2) Return real power to the states: power over school curriculums, first and foremost.

3) Getting rid of your TV.

Education: kids come from homes that have few books and don't see parents and people reading for pleasure. You don't read more because you're good at reading, you get good at reading by reading more. Kids need to learn that reading is a way to get at something you like or want. Ditto for math.

This I feel is the big one but unless we are willing to control our borders have "limited" immigration, go back to a manufacturing base where one breadwinner per family can survive then the idea of a high morals,family, GOD and country type system will never return. We simply are selling America and the cultural battle from the far left is adding to the death of our country.

Actually one of the biggest roadblocks that we face is the
Senate 6 year terms for life

Limit the senate to 2 2 year terms , period

then you might see things get done if these idiot senators have
to face the people every 2 years , like the house does

1. English as our official, national, workplace, and educational language.
2. No government funding for special interest groups like La Raza--we are Americans. Eliminate Hispanic/black/asian/Irish/Chinese/etc American from our volcabulary.
3. Seal our borders.
4. Stop illegal immigration. Make it a felony.
5. Limit foreign governments to two consulates and NO mobile consulates.
6. Prohibit foreign lobbies in government.
7. Limit spending on political campaigns. No campaign contrabutions from foreign businesses or governments.
8. Close foreign embassies and consulates that interfer with our laws, constitution and political activities. Expel foreign diplomats and consulate members participating.
9. Gangs are terrorist organizations--prosecute them as such.
10. Start enforcing the treason, sedition, and political subversion laws.
11. Elected officials can be recalled or removed easily from office if they don't speak and vote those who elected them. Perhaps a one year trial basis.
12. Voters must be citizens. Those aiding illegal voters should be stripped of their citizenship and tried for treason.
13. For public health issues--all employers of immigrants want to ensure public health and therefore are required to pay for a complete health physical prior to employment and annually there-after. (Day workers may undergo 5 health physicals a week--so be it)
14. No more visa's and college educations for students from countries that wish us harm.
15. No NAU, no Nafta, and secret trade agreements with the EU that goes into effect in 2015.
16. No foreign commercial trucking within the borders of the US.
17. Free media reporting
18. Tax money remittances sent outside the US.

19. Re-interpret the 14th Amendment the way is was meant to be. No more birthright citizenship for children born of illegal aliens.

Good family values are at the heart of raising healthy children. Our divorce rate is the highest in the world. I cant see why that is. I see more and more single parents who have chosen to stay single and see others.

Parenting seems to be on auto pilot. Many of us have relegated education to the responsibility of the govt. There is a parenting aspect to education which seems to have been forgotten.

Retroactively repeal Ted Kennedy's 1965 Immigration Bill. End all immigration from the Third World. Deport any existing legal immigrant who commits a crime.

Deport all anchor babies and their children and grandchildren, starting with Alberto Gonzales.

Repeal all Free Trade Agreements and replace them with Fair Trade Agreements. Place high tariffs on products from nations who employ slave labor or substandard ecological practices.

Forbid multi-national corporations from selling their products or services in the USA. Compel American based corporations to take oath of loyalty to the American people.

Encourage all children to enroll in the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts.

Require 2 years of public service from all citizens who wish to vote.

Create a meritocracy and disband the welfare state. Even disabled people can be put to work. It will improve their outlook on life. And they won't need to be taking anti-depressants.

Restore the rights of fathers and husbands to the position of the head of their households.

Before seeking a career, women must first bear at least 2 children and stay at home and raise them until they are of school age. No more daycare centers. No more unwed mothers living alone or with their boyfriends. No more easy divorces. Criminal penalties for adultery.
(some of the Old Testament laws about morality are good in moderation)

Discourage decadent art and rock music and its derivatives. Promote classical art and music. Promote the study of the history of Western Civilization.

Fire liberal teachers and find honest jobs for them doing manual labor like lettuce picking.

Life was better in the 1950's. That era should be our model

And that's just a start. The morality of the 1850's should be the goal.

But relax, we still get to drink beer and have parties.
