    Americans ...

Nowadays, the likes of whom plan to vote for Democrats or McCain (which are one in the same) have got to be the most sorry lot in history.

A bunch of whiners who want their nanny government to just do it all FOR THEM. And more on the way from the south to add to it!

Take care of my health and every need, but don't forget also to protect me at the same time from radical islam -- I know it's going to cost a lot, but that's ok ...my freedoms don't matter, AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE OF ME. I'll do whatever you want - just don't make ME try to do it myself. I'm just not that strong or smart. I'd just rather go shopping or try out for American Idol.

YUCK. ...makes me sick. Americans USED TO BE a strong an independent type of people. Now it seems they just don't care as long as they are taken care of in every way.

Like the rest of the sorry world. Might was well become like the french ...smoke and hang out all day in cafes, sticking our heads in the sand.

Sorry, I"m in a bad mood and haven't had my coffee yet.

It is quite hard to see what is going on with these elections and feel hopeful. I agree that a lot of Americans seem to not care. They just want the government to wipe their rears regardless of the cost to this country.

I have to admit watching the polls last night I was sick. All I could think was they were so giddy at their win that so many didn't have a clue exactly exactly what they won........ Had nightmares thinking where this is taking us......

Then I wake up to WLS radio talking about Chicago. Daley announced there would be a 40% tax increase for those buying homes in Chicago.....something about the noterious world wide knowledge about how corrupt our Illinois politicians are......that pollsters were telling the people to mark their paper ballots with the stylis used for the computer screen..it was an "invisible marker",,, don't know why but 2 pollsters got in a fight and were arrested....a womans advocacy group has a bill to allow trained concealed weapons so innocent people aren't at the mercy of the likes of the man who killed those 5 women in the Tinley Park store, yet others want them banned as if that's going to stop criminals and gangs from having them. Come out here and start reading everything from banning plastic bags at our grocery stores to the latino north side rapist starting trial...... I skipped my coffee.....makes me tense and I already have a headache from all this plesant news to start my day. Not to mention all the deaths from all those poor people caught in tornadoes and looking for possibly a foot of snow here today. Feel like going back to bed and getting out the other side to see if it's better.

    It's pretty simple to me:

Conservatives want a strong government and a strong people, and will use power to preserve it, without being overlords. Were as Liberals just want power, and will use the government and it’s people to get it, which yield a weakening of both government and it's people.

Yes, I know. That is why I said voters who voted for these imbeciles. There are as many who did NOT vote for them, which gives me hope -- some hope at least.

And, of course, the election could very well be rigged now at this point in time in this country. Illegals voting, machines, etc. It's still amazing that we the people could still defeat amnesty this past summer, but the General Sheeple voted in these two losers.

I think something IS going on -- and that many MORE do NOT want them in, but the machine still keeps putting them in.

I can only hope -- and go by instincts.

Cheer up, everyone! NOTHING has really changed!!! What we are faced with now is just an older, meaner, uglier, bigger liar than George W. Bush!

Our biggest challenge now is to defeat the Clinton machine! We MUST unite to support the R candidate. As his own Mother said...we will have to 'hold our noses'! Just think of the alternative! What choice do we have? We have to play the cards we are dealt!

WE MUST KEEP THE CLINTONISTAS OUT OF THE WH AT ALL COSTS!!!

"NO AMNESTY" is still our battle to win! Nothing has changed! We need to fight even harder now...so let's go to it! United we stand...divided we fall!

McCain has no chance in hell of winning the general election.

we will have a democrat candidate, with the only exception being if a third party candidate runs that has a lot of appeal to all of the public because Hillary has high negatives and can be beat....but NOT by GOP

the GOP party is dead and has to wait for the Dems to screw things up worse to ever get back in it (which shouldn't take too long).

    fj45lvr...

I totally understand where you're coming from...no one could detest McMexican more than I do, but it looks like he will be our only choice. The chances of an IND coming in on a white horse seems pretty remote to me.

As you said, Hillary has lots of negatives...so it's up to us to convince the sheeple that McCain would be the better choice! It's going to be a heck of an acting job...but what choice do we have? I cannnot think of a worse fate than to have 4 more years of Bill Clinton and his wife! Can you think of anything worse than Hillary running the White House and Nancy Pelosi running the House of Representatives? I can't!!!

We have to beat them at their own game! McCain was a plant, but we have to outfox them! We can't let them win!
