An opinion on the current "Corporate Plan"

It is all too abundantly clear that there is a massively powerful force behind illegal immigration. I think when we see a product rollout like the ridiculous Macy’s racist t-shirts, we will find more items like this to follow. Products like that shirt, Nike’s planned “mexi-rolloutâ€

I agree with your insights into this marketing strategy. There will be more "rancid tools of saturation". It's a silent message to Americans - you are surrounded. Resistance is uselessl

How can we protect ourselves from this? By returning to values handed down by our culture, by people who eschewed the luxuries of the European "civilization". Think about who our greatest American heros are. Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Kit Carson, Abe Lincoln. People who chose the harsh wilderness over the silk pillows and neckties of civilization. People who judged themselves by a different standard than materialism. We've got to get back to those early American values.

The collectivist hordes and their feudal masters know that they have to destroy historical links and disrupt and severe American cultural ties to get their business model through. They know that Americans gain strength and character with their connections to history and patriotism. That Americans, when united, are very strong. SO this is why they have endeavored to severe all cultural foundations that give Americans their identity
Absolutely we gain strength and character when we connect to our illustrious history. Since all our texts have been rewritten, since all our "hero myths" have been debunkt in liberal/communist classrooms, we have seen a weakening of our national character and a return to the European model our forefathers fought so valiantly to destroy on our soil. We've brought it back by our own slavish materialism.

Thats true about returns to values. But, in many ways I don't think that we have ever really lost them, I just think the MSM and media juggernaut, academia and the court system have done their darndest to bury them. One thing that i think a good many folk do not realize is that they have great sway with business corps. If a white guy, stable job house and car. Nice family, middle class salary makes it loud and clear that he isn't going to buy products, it has much more of an impact than a communist peassant with a machete, who's sole intent is to send money back to mexico, bitching about directly marketed products. In other words, we have more of an impact on the marketeers, we just have to be heard and organized. We can use the same mechanisms of boycott, under the same mechanics that we are marketed with. when they look at numbers, thats all they see.

Once I went to a guest speaker lecture thing that included some Hollywood execs talking about piracy and copy protection and privacy. One college age kid stood up and said flatly to the panle: "I am tired of hearing your stars and actors extreme political opinions. It is frustrating because they have access and I do not. That cannot hear my retort. You folk have a monopoly on expression so they can say what they will without reprecussions." There was a reply about freedom of ideas and how hollywood nurtures variety. The kid cut them off and said: "If you think anyone buys that you are nuts. I am so pissed at George Clooney guess what Im doing?" They asked. "I am pirating everything that he is in. Not from the screen, but I am ripping the dvds, removing the copy prtection and making high resolution dvds available online and in other countries. I am going to do this for every artist unitl they shut the %$^& up." Realizing the potential trend here, one exec tried to intervene and calm him. He then replied"...everytime I get pounded with nonsense, you lose money thats the way its gonna be." He really got their attention when they found out he's attending grad school in computer science, already makes $57k a year and is single. A great deal of the discussion was consumed with them trying to pull rememdies out of their hat. It finally ended with a "we hear you."

Not that I condone this, but the point is the illegal alien invasion is about money and really rich global corps destabalizing our country to get the constitution out of the way of business. The grunts for this movement are the greedy on the right and the socialist and collectivist left.

What an interesting conversation this is! I am a university professor, and I am up against the leftest thinking of that system. Not all of us are politically liberal, by the way! We just have to be very careful what we say because of our political reality. By the way, I am a "Baby Boomer," so watch it! :P

Chosen, what I am hearing loud and clear from your message here is that citizens with money to spend need to agree on which groups to boycott. I have mentioned this idea before on this forum. I'm not sure where to start on that, but like you, I'm sure that MONEY TALKS!

It boggles my mind that more people have not reached this conclusion. I'm not sure what the reason is. I have been trying to get this point across and I guess I am not very good successful at influencing people.

We are giving our money to these big and little corporations and businesses. They, in turn, are hiring illegals and purchasing politicians with it.

The simple thing is to withhold our monies from them and things will change. Without jobs, the illegals will go home.

My idea was to boycott one industry at a time - just for a few months. It is much easier, I think, to go after one industry than simply one company. If we get the attention of one company, it might cause a buzz, but it wil do very little to solve the problem of illegals. If we get the attention of one industry at a time, it will make a difference.

While I would dearly love to see the retailers hit and hit hard, I would rather hit an industry that employs illegals. If we got the attention of one large industry - it would make a difference. Far fewer of these 'giant thinkers' would make such silly moves as the shirts, etc., and when they get calls from us regarding bad moves, they would be more willing to listen. Right now, they are either indifferent, condescending or downright rude.

Before I found this site, I tried to interest another site in trying to do some targetted, industry wide, boycotts. The person who operated the site said he/she would rather not because he/she 'didn't want to hurt American business'. When I suggested it was American business that was hurting us and our country, he still said no. It was his site after all.

Money is what is driving this, our money. It is our money that can fix it.

We just need someone who can get people fired up to do it.

That is absolutely correct. My dollar and capitol have the final say, but unfortunately those of us who are not wearing a Che shirt and living off of a trust fund, haven't realized our influence...The current condition of the United States is really the result of a long creeping collectivst cancer after ww2.

NNtrixie don't give up hope. Maybe you can start one yourself? A general site that listed bad corporations and businesses and what they support and are using their profits for. It wouldn't even have to be political in nature and appearance. You could simply do something like: Miller supports illegal aliens etc etc. Give some facts. Give your site a name then sell a sticker off your site. It would be a good unifying point. It could say I boycott the bad businesses on ________.com! Something simple like that. I would buy one. Boycott bad businesses! ________ dot com. That would be a great unifier for our movement. You can do it too, its fairly easy. Need help? Just pm me...

I think I am too 'old and tired' for that. Also, I think company by company would take longer than we have. We are going to have to do something soon, because the government is not sleeping, they are moving at frantic speed to do something, not sure what.

If we took on just one industry, it would take no effort, no thinking, no driving, no research, no phone calls, no emails, just don't buy the products of that industry for a few months.

You were talking in terms of retail, I have always thought if we could boycott the poultry industry - it would make such a difference. If for just 3 months, maybe 6, everyone who is against illegal immigration, would just not buy poultry, thousands of illegals would be out of work. If we just took on one poultry company, they illegals could just move around - and they do. If all poultry was left in the stores, there would be no jobs and they would go home on their own. After that industry, take on another.

If we took on one industry and got their attention, the retailers might have an 'attitude adjustment' as we used to say.

My plan is not to actually hurt any industry as lots of Americans depend on them for jobs also - it is just to get their attention. They understand where they are getting their monies, it is the consumers who haven't really, really made the connection.

No contest that boycotts, if we could get a high level of participation, would work. However, last year when we began to organize all the many suggestions given to us by people on the boards about who needed to be boycotted , suddenly there were only a few people involved. Nntrixie was one of those people and she worked hard on it. But three or four people shouldn't be given all of the burden for a boycott.

We never have a lack of people making suggestions about what needs to be done, but when it comes time to organize it, people seem content to leave things up to someone else to carry out. i'm not trying to point to anyone in specific here but only bringing up a dynamic I have seen many times on the board.

On top of that, there were responses that indicated that it was too much of a burden to do the boycotts because people weren't able to give up certain things. There is still a stubborn clinging to the way of life that is causing us to be enslaved. Some people think that we would have to stop shopping altogether because the number of offending companies is just so high.

The whole Chamber of Commerce is involved in this. Lou Dobbs list of outsourcing companies was huge last year and has probably grown.
Public service companies give service to illegals without any SS#'s but we citizens cannot get service unless we give our SS #'s. The number of companies that hire illegals - just take a look at MOD EDIT to see the huge number there are.

I'm sure people are still doing their own private boycott actions such as McDonald's, Tysons. So please, don't anyone take offense in what I am saying. I know people are doing their own private boycott actions to varying degrees. We used to have many BUY AMERICAN links up and I believe we still do.

But what we've been doing hasn't been as effective as an organized
    boycott could be.

And nntrixie, I think you are wise in sticking to the "one industtry" idea that you had. We did get SOME results in our poultry boycott - we did see some indication of chicken being dumped. Trouble is - people LIKE chicken so much, and depend on its cheaper price to have flesh food on the table that a 6 month chicken boycott would be hard to get participation for. Although, chicken from family farms that don't use illegal labor would still be acceptable for purchase.

I think its a great idea, Trixie, but I'd like to see more people getting into the organization and promotion of it than just ourselves. Also, I am going to be without internet access for the next two months, so I couldn't be alot of ongoing help to you.

All really good ideas. There is still a lot of Americans that dont see the big picture. They still think that the government is going to do the right thing. Granted, more and more are waking up. But, if we are really going to take our government to task, MORE need to be aware of the gravity of this issue.

I can see the value of one industry at a time. I can also see the possibility of "a company of the month" to be boycotted. Let's say that in August, we boycott Walmart. That's a big one! If someone happens to know that Target or K Mart don't support illegals, then we announce that and shop at one of those stores for the month--or from then on!

What we need is a plan that is simple to implement. If we know who the top offenders are, we make them one of our "Monthly Businesses to
Boycott" selections. We could do the "industry" idea at the same time. The only drawback with that is that we are not rewarding those within that industry who are supporting Americans. We need to do both at one time somehow: punish those who support illegals and reward those who don't!
