I noticed this when I was setting up my router. There were about 8 to 10 routers that are visible to my wireless access point. Most had general names, but 4 had Spanish names, like Juan and so forth. I renamed my router to “Minuteman” within two days all four disappeared. One came back with a generic router name. I know it was renamed because my wireless scanning software also shows the routers “mac number” that you can’t change. But 3 of them never came back online.

As far as I see it, this could accomplish two main things;
1) It will let you know if there are any illegals online in your neighborhood. And send them a message of just how close the Minuteman are.
2) It will show a level unity. Think of it; what if everyone coast to coast did this. Everyone would see just how many people are against the illegals. It would be an anonymous but certainly not a silent protest that would reach across the country. I bet it could outdue the national protests they had July 5th. The best part is that this protest will never stop, and most likely grow as time passes. Think of it; our public officials use the Internet, they too would “have to” see the numbers.

If you like my idea, do it and pass the word. Lets see how long before the news media acknowledge this movement.
