Thread: AMERICAN contractors listings for AMERICAN home owners??

Hope this isn't inappropriate but, I've got a heloc with my name on it and I need to find AMERICAN contractors who hire only AMERICANS to do the work on my house? I live in the Chicago area.

Is there any centralized place to find these types of tradesman (AMERICANS)?

I absolutely refuse to let a single illegal mexican on my property or give them a dime of my money.

Anyone?

Alrighty then, after much research I happened upon a site that lists American companies across the U.S. that don't hire illegals. There aren't a lot of registered companies in my area but with a little help it looks promising if anyone is interested.

Question for everyone (without beating this topic to death) :

Shouldn't we ALL be supporting OUR local AMERICAN tradesman/contractors and taking the cash away from the illegals by creating a closed circle of American home owners and American tradesman across the country? At least for we like minded individuals?

What better way to flush out the unwanted illegals and circle the wagons around AMERICANS and OUR society?
