Thread: What would you do? (ABC)

This program is on right now and its pure propaganda that portrays how Americans are supposed to treat ILLEGAL ALIENS and how anyone questions someone's immigration status is racist. Not once so far has stealing SS#s, and benefit fraud been brought up. Anyone watch this show tonight?

I'm sorry I missed that show, but it sounds like I am not missing more than the BS we hear via the liberal media about the poor immigrants!

First, I cringe when I hear anyone call then immigrants, and secondly, the majority of Americans know they are getting a scam job, especially those of us that live in stupid "Santurary Cities"!

It's supposed to be a show with no political view. It recognizes the fact that the borders must be protected from criminals and drug/human trafficking, but at same time, points out that not all people coming through are necessarily murders or child rapists, but people in search of work to feed their families. Still, no matter how tragic their situation, they must go back and that is made clear by the show.

It's a good show, I rather watch Lost, but still, ok show.

Are we talking about Homeland Security USA, or the actual show....now that my kids have told me they saw the ad for it.....called What Would You Do?

The one you're describing sounds like the former and now that I've been informed of the latter show, I think that might be what Rockfish was talking about.

I did enjoy Homeland Security.......it was a good first episode and I'm sure it will get even better in subsequent epis.

The show was disgusting! They automatically labeled those opposed to illegal immigration as racists! If they had bothered to interview those individuals further they probably would have realized that ultimately, most people are sympathetic towards the plight of individual illegals and are just expressing a general, collective anger against the Mexican (and other) government for failing to take care of their own people, forcing migration to the U.S. illegally in order to feed their families, AND the failure of the U.S. government to stop it!

I have seen the What Would You Do series a few times before and they have done features on weight discrimination and height discrimination as well as race segments. But what bugs me about the What Would You Do series is that there is never any segments that focus on racism towards whites by minority groups. John Quiones is probably an illegal supporter. He said that he is a 7th generation Texan. I know a lot of Hispanics with long histories in Texas that are against illegal immigration. The American media will never put any focus on discriminatiion faced by whites. John Quiones needs to realize that illegal immigration is opposed by Americans of different races. Maybe somebody needs to tell him about Ted Hayes, Terry Anderson, Al Rodriguez and Lupe Moreno.

I watched the show. Basically, they hired an actor to stand behind the counter of a deli. They also hired actors to play day laborers. When the "laborers" tried to order in spanish, the "employee" told them to order in English, because this is America. They wanted to see the reactions from customers. Every customer that agreed with the "employee" was taken aside by the journalist who told them they were racist. At one point, the journalist asked a guy why he is against immigrants. The guy said he wasn't against immigrants, but illegal immigrants, and he gave the reasons why (which are COMPLETELY legitimate) and they were still called racists. This show made me so angry! When is someone going to do a story about the TRUE impact of illegal immigration. I sent an e-mail to ABC to ask them to do a story about me, since I am a victim of ID theft by an illegal. Of course I haven't heard back.

My wife and I watched about 10-15 minutes of this garbage until I started getting angry. Then when changed channels. Pure liberal propaganda. Garbage! I wanted to badly for someone to tell that "poor" illegal alien that was crying that we are sooooo "mean" to him because he is a criminal. Go back home!

Its too bad that they didn't catch me on camera. If I saw a clerk tell someone to order in English Only I would be cheering and hopping around!!!
