Thread: George Soros & Moveon.org Liability?

Recently I've read several news articles that indicate George Soros, MoveOn.org or other Soros-supported organizations are paying people to "protest" Trump's election. These "protests" have destroyed public and/or private property and cost municipalities quite a bit of money to deal with them. Not to mention individuals have been injured and likely will have medical bills due to their injuries sustained at these bought-and-paid-for protests.

I'm not an attorney, but common sense tells me that since these "protestors" were being paid to commit these acts of violence and destruction of property, the organizations or individuals who paid them to do these nefarious deeds should be held responsible for the monetary damages caused by their employees.

Why are George Soros and his political organizations not being held liable for these damages? Why are they not being sued by the individuals and municipalities who suffered damages at the hands of their paid "protestors?" I don't understand it.

If I hired ten or twenty thugs to go to my local town square to "protest" something I didn't like and they started breaking the windows of local businesses and assaulting innocent pedestrians, would I not be held at least partially liable?

They are their employees. They should be responsible for them.

Somebody should get a group of damaged parties together and sue, maybe a group of cities and individuals harmed.
