Anybody see CNN last night?
There was a piece about illegals being bussed out of NO. An admitted illegal guy named Sanchez was complaining that they didn't need documents when they were hired but now they do. He built temporary housing on a military installation, slept in a tent, HURT HIS FINGER, didn't get paid and now is being loaded on a bus and shipped out. TOO BAD; SO SAD!
Wondered where those two busses were off to next. Not Mexico I bet.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I saw that show. The guy was sure upset about hurting his finger, as he said "building your houses"....in other words covering the roof with plastic, but maybe where he's from that constitutes a complete house.
I'm a bit tired of too many people condemning the people of NO for not being there rebuilding. How? FEMA, etc spread them all over the country. Where do you put your family. There are no services or schools.Want to make people angry? Lie to them.
Want to make them absolutely livid? Tell 'em the truth."

And, they sure can't AFFORD to come back since, in his infinite wisdom, our President suspended the Davis Bacon Act which would have guaranteed the workers a living wage. He also suspended the requirement for IMMIGRANTS to show DOCUMENTATION so they could take all of the NO-BID CONTRACT jobs provided by HALLIBURTON and COMPANY!

President REVERSED David-Bacon Waiver last week and prevailing wage goes back into effect in early November. Good Bye Aliens. And the Louisiana Senator, Mary Landreaux..(sp) has ordered a Congressional Investigation of these illegal aliens in her state and wants them shipped out. Maybe that's been expedited with the busses.
Hurt his finger? Take it to the clinic in Mexico City when you get home.

The rescinding of the Presidential waiver of the Davis Bacon Act is significant for several reasons the most important of which is the fact that this was a direct result of the OUTCRY from the AMERICAN PEOPLE. I'm sure Congress played a small part in it BUT, if you think back, THEY didn't seem to have a problem with it when Bush did it. I believe it was only when the AMERICAN PEOPLE began to contact the White House and contact their representatives that the tide turned on that issue.
Governor Landreaux (sp?) who is a DEMOCRAT--a Party which seems to have NO PROBLEM with illegal immigration--might have started a movement within THAT party to take a stand against this problem. As with the rescinding of the waiver of the Davis Bacon Act, the AMERICAN PEOPLE have again made their voices heard on the President suspending the need for DOCUMENTATION for people applying for those jobs in the Katrina zone.
These two turnarounds are really a strong example of what the American people CAN do when the need arises. This is one of the most significant steps in the battle we have been fighting for so long. It started out with a small group of people who had just HAD IT with these illegals pouring into our country. It didn't seem that we were being heard. But, there was and remains a snowball effect taking place here and our numbers have grown thereby enabling us to make demands of our representatives that would never have worked 5 years ago. We are making HUGE STRIDES in getting the attention of the politicians and we are living proof of what a grassroots effort can accomplish."POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." Bootsie, you are so right!! This shows the power of the American People, when we stand together and show our government not only what we want, but that we will accept nothing less.
