    WHY REID VOTED NO

    The vote fell mostly along party lines, although Sens. Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, both D-Ark., sided with Republicans to block the bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., also voted against the measure as a procedural tactic. Under Senate rules, casting his vote with the majority of the Senate enables him to revive the bill at a later date.

    Yeah, thanks for the explanation. I thought I was hallucinating while watching the vote on C-Span when I heard Reid from Nevada...No!

    If he loses re-election this November in Nevada, then this procedural tactic of his JUST BOMBED.

    SO IT IS IMPORTANT FOR REID TO LOSE THE NOVEMBER ELECTION!!

    VOTE ANGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
    PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH. PRESS 2 FOR DEPORTATION.

    I even called Reid's office just before the roll call and votes and said it probably would not do any good but if I could have the support of the Sen to back away from the Bill would be appreciated..........MAYBE it worked...
