    Nobody?

OK, I'll start with quick reviews of the books I have read by Mr. Buchanan:

State of Emergency -- A brilliant exposition of the crises. He details the enormous scale of the invasion and its impact. The drain of social services, depression of wages, demographic takeover, and huge criminal impact. He destroys open borders myths on the need for illegal immigration. Pat explains in detail the reconquista movement, and ties it to the NAU and overall strategy for world government. Pat describes the Muslim takeover of Europe, and details frighteningly accurate comparisons between Rome on the verge of collapse, and the modern day West. He gives a detailed explanation into attrition through enforcement, and a virtual blue-print for the double-layer fence.

Death of the West -- Similar to State of Emergency, but focuses more on the causes of illegal immigration. Pat explains that neo-Marxism won the day in the 1960s, and the nation has never been the same. That neo-Marxist social theories attacked our moral, cultural, religious, and family norms. This resulted in smaller families, and an aging, shrinking, and dying population, needing population replacement. The last step is the Third World takeover. Pat gives a "nuts and bolts" reasoning for social conservatism, and how it supports healthy nations.

Hitler, Churchill, and the Unnecessary War -- In this controversial book, Pat questions the West's reasoning for going to war from 1914-1945. He explains that after WWI Germany was stripped of its military, made to pay enormous war reparations, and stripped of land at its fronteirs, even though it was not entirely at fault for the war. This resulted in the rise of Hitler, who attempted to return the land back to Germany, until Britain gave a war guarantee to Poland in response to Germany's requests for the return of the city of Danzig. Germany responded to the war guarantee by joining with Stalin in swallowing up Poland. The war guarantee by Britain is a major question in Pat's book, because the British did not back it up, and Poland was just taken over. Especially by wars end as it ended up in the hands of Stalin along with the rest of Eastern Europe and East Germany. Communist triumph lead to the murder of 100 million people in the 20th century, and Britain and France were done has world powers, Europe was ruined and 50 million people died in the war excellerating the "Death of the West." And America is currently acting like Britian did on the verge of its collapse as a world power.

Day of Reckoning -- The book details America's problems with foreign policy, Third World invasions, and free trade. Makes good points about our overstretched military, dangerous alliances and bellicose foriegn policy. But IMO pays too much attention to that, and not nearly enough on immigration and trade. Although there is a 40+ page chapter on outsourcing and free trade which is a must read for any fair trader, detailing the destruction of our manufacturing base, and the transfer of weath from the middle class to elites making over 400 times what middle-America earns.

I hope Pat writes another one soon. He certainly has a way with words. I remember him saying he was considering writing a book about tribalism in the world, but he hasn't written it yet. For a while he was cranking out 1 book a year, but he hasn't written one in over 2 years. Hopefully he writes another soon.

I was hoping someone would post a review. I wouldn't mind reading Death of the West, but have not had a chance to yet....

Good choice. Death of the West is an impressive work. It really gives you a good idea of how we got where we are, and where we are headed if things don't change. When you get a chance, it is definitely worth the read.

That was a good book, although Steyn's a much better writer addressing demographic shifts to the third world, IMO. I also read part of his book about immigration. Not a fan of his historical analysis, re: World War II.

What is Steyn's first name? I think I'll check out his work. I thought Pat did a good job of breaking down the demographic projections in State of Emergency and Death of the West. Also, have you read The Unnecessary War?
