The importance of the 2014 Election-Obama re-elected with 10 Million Less Votes

The importance of the 2014 Election

November 6, 2012, Barack Hussein Obama was re-elected although he garnered TEN MILLION fewer votes than his first term election.

    Why?

THREE MILLION fewer Republican voters voted for Romney than those who had voted for McCain in the previous election cycle.

As Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts so aptly observed in the ruling that re-wrote and endorsed the ACA (Obamacare) - "elections have consequences."

Ronald Reagan observed once that "He who is 80% my friend is NOT 20% my enemy." Those who could not stomach Romney apparently have no problem stomaching the alternative; their refusal to vote resulted in a vote FOR Obama.

Destroying the nation in order to prove a point on so-called principled purity of cause misses the point of history: Progressives are happy to embrace whoever will support their ideals even if but in limited and small measure. That movement has incrementally moved the nation to a tipping point. And the 2014 election is of paramount importance.

We waste our energy on the false ideal of a imposing a purity register upon elected officials, especially if they fail to do what we want, how we want, when we want and the way we want (for example the debate and closure of the government last year).

There is too much at stake in this year's elections. The nation doesn't need another lesson, it needs those with conservative ideals to move in concert. To do that requires a majority in both the House and the Senate.

I urge everyone to read Thomas Sowell's Townhall Finance article today: http://townhall.com/columnists/thomassowell/2014/03/19/facts-and-fa...
Just as our Founders could not have everything they wanted in their moment at the establishment of our nation (Ben Franklin's council to John Adams over the issue of slavery), neither will we in this one election. If we could learn anything from history we should heed Franklin's, as well as Sowell's advice - let us vote this fall to halt this current process of the destruction of liberty and our national heritage.

Just because a candidate is not 100% in agreement with your political ideals doesn't make him your enemy, particularly if his historic voting record is 80% or better in the direction of conservatism and Constitutionalism. The following sites can show you the voting records of each Congressperson or Senator: Conservative Voting Records; Project Vote Smart; Heritage Action Scorecard.

To at least stop the Administration's agenda Republicans must have majorities in both chambers of the legislature. With this, the agenda is halted. A super majority makes it veto proof and can begin the unwinding of some of the most damaging things in place.

But here, now, this is where to start. Not in the wasted energies of seeking a purity that cannot be attained. Our Founders did not have it but they recognized the ideal and the worthiness of doing what is necessary and what is achievable in the moment it can be done. As the Zen proverbs observe: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."; and, "In the war between the water and the rock, water always wins.....overtime."

I agree with a majority of this with the exception of the Republican Establishment FLAKES that are being forced on the American Public

Just a warning; if they "The Republican Establishment / RNC" push RINO's or Obama Lites; All Hell will break Loose
