(Washington, D.C.) – The Teamsters Union urges the Bush administration to fully investigate the fiery border crash that involved two Mexican trucks on Thursday—and to tell the public exactly what happened and why.
According to news reports, two tractor-trailer trucks with Mexican license plates crashed and burst into flames on a bridge linking Reynosa, Mexico and Pharr, Texas, on Thursday night. Four people died and six were injured.

U-turn identified as cause of deadly collision on Pharr international bridge
Sean Gaffney and Zack Quaintance
January 11, 2008 - 9:23AM
Pharr — A tractor-trailer driver trying to make a U-turn on the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge caused the collision that killed four and left six with minor injuries, a bridge official said Friday.
The Mexican truck driver, who worked for the Flete Y Acarreos de Reynosa trucking company, was headed north toward the United States with a load of electronics, bridge director Jesse Medina said. About 7:10 p.m. the man turned his rig 180 degrees and collided with an empty southbound semitrailer from the Oscar J. Cienfuegos Hernandez trucking company, Medina added.
While it would seem impossible for a semitrailer to make a U-turn on the bridge, truckers on the Mexican side routinely do just that when they realize that they’re missing the proper documentation to cross the international border with cargo, Medina said.
“It’s almost impossible to do (a U-turn) without hitting the barriers,â€Please support ALIPAC's fight to save American Jobs & Lives from illegal immigration by joining our free Activists E-Mail Alerts (CLICK HERE)

The Teamsters could care less about the public safety regarding this issue. The teamsters are upset because the Mexican Truck Drivers are not union due paying members.
Remember, it was the AFL-CIO who sued in Federal Court to stop the No Match Letters that were to be sent out to thousands of employers across the country.
The teamsters could care less about the illegal invaders just as long as they pay their membership dues.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

NoBueno, Stealthwii, et al...
I included my other links to the Teamsters' related threads here simply to point out that while they have also been opposed to the Mexican trucking demo project (and with our support - even if not coordinated), they have also taken to defending IAs by not taking a stance against amnesty.
So, in short, take the good news with 'a grain of salt' here...Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
