    immigration was not the issue

    Though immigration is near and dear to our hearts. This election was not won and lost on the basis of immigration.

    In the last two weeks many poll vertically had immigration 4th to 7th in voter concern and horizonally 2nd tier.

    It would be interesting to debate that not amnesty guestworker is still on the table even in the Democratic party.

    I think many Americans had a "just turn me lose from Bush" attitude on election day.
