Thread: A solution to John McCain

He says he will "secure the border first", which we all know is an amorphous feat, at best. So we can pretty much count on him adding a few thousand troops, and awarding a "tech surveillance" contract to one of his buddies' companies, and then holding a big, flashy press conference announcing he's "secured the border".

And that's when we simply do what we did last time an Amnesty bill came up.

Well..a solution to McPain is if you haven't voted..vote for Ron Paul. He is still on all the ballots. If Ron Paul doesn't make it on the ballot for Nov...the Libertarian candidate...Wayne Allyn Root , is a good option rather than voting for the 3 Stooges.

Wayne Allyn Root is just another "secure the borders first" stooge. From his website:

If I decide to throw away my vote on a third party candidate, it will be for a candidate who opposes amnesty and supports attrition through enforcement.

Why would you even consider making such a recommendation knowing this:

Mr. Root doesn't seem to be any better than McCain, Obama, or the Hildabeast. As for Paul...........well, I'm just not going to vote for a presidential candidate this year. This will be the first time I haven't voted for a presidential candidate since reaching legal voting age (I'm now 49). For the record, Paul is no longer a presidential candidate.

It's very easy to say that living in a red state like Oklahoma or North Carolina that will never support Clinton or Obama in the general election. That said, I've been wrestling with this issue lately because I will most likely be moving back to the purple state of Colorado in the near future. I've finally come to the conclusion that there are positive and negative aspects of having a pro-amnesty dem or a pro-amnesty pub in the oval office and I can't decide which scenario would be best for our cause so I will not cast a vote for president unless a viable "attrition through enforcement" candidate enters the race.

I know this will probably be unpopular, but... even though it was very, very painful to see McCain win the nod (I was a Ron Paulite, then a Romny-ite after McCain started surging), I will vote for him in Nov, barring any major events.

After the election I will then immediately increase my letter-writing 100fold to my local, state and federal representatives, as well as the White House. We CANNOT have Hillary of Obama in office. And although McCain is so horrible on so many Conservative issues, he's still more aligned (w/ me) than they are. So... it's a no-brainer imho, albeit a disgusting one.

And so my little "theory" stands. Get McCain into office, and then let him hear us again, and even louder. I believe that's our best chance.

McCains stance on immigration is the least of the worries. The Wars WILL be expanded under McCain. A vote for McCain is actually a vote for his VP pick.

I will defintely not vote for McCain, and not voting for Hillary or Obama is just a given. Like was mentioned, RP will not be in the general election, and that libertarian guy sounds like, well, a libertarian.....But I think that EVERONE should VOTE!!

We should vote for the Constitution Party's candidate.

Well.........we're beyond this now and must think ahead, it dosen't matter which of the 3 stooges get in, the results will be the same, another Amnesty attempt will be made in late '08 early '09, therefore we must keep a firm grip on the senate and congress and maintain breakneck pressure on them.

Keeping McCain in line may be possible. How about gnawing away at the edges, like making Juan R. Hernandez persona non grata in Republican circles?
