Thread: What would you do with your stimulus rebate ?

If I get this check, I will cash it and put it directly into my firesafe lock box until needed. Or maybe I will apply for a gun permit, and put the remaining cash in my lock box.

ndmibby, IMHO, who cares?? My patriotism IS NOT FOR SALE.

(I know you meant that honestly and I am not slamming you for it. I am just trying to think "Big Picture" and sometimes that means we have to make personal sacrifices. In fact, I think it is great for those of us ALIPACERS who could use the money to get out of some financial hole. But for those of us who can spare it, we can use this to make a statement!)

He is giving back some of your money that you have already been taxed on once, so you can go and spend it so you will be taxed on it again when you buy something, and you can bet that rebate will be added on your tax return for 08.. Good plan don't ya think? nothing like triple dipping..

Use it to help pay the thousands it must be costing us for pushing 800 dollars through the gauntlet of liars, cheats, and thieves in the government.

I am just going to send mine directly to the Pres. Of mexico because 3/4 of all refunds will go to illegals and that money will be sent to Mexico any way! !
