Thread: Hispanic Heritage Festival Cancelled in Manassas, VA

I'm watching the news on ABC channel 7 in DC. They have just announced that the annual Hispanic Heritage Festival in Manassas, VA has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

According to the report, this is the first year since the inception of this celebration, that the festival has not received overwhelming support from the residents. Only 4 out of 80 vendors who have traditionally participated in the festivities signed up this year.

Any idea why this would happen?

Think Natonal Council of La Raza will start getting the DON'T CALL HERE message?

I sure hope so.

Maybe they'll disband "due to a lack of interest".

I am not sure we should be having all these months any way. We are americans and should celebrate being americans. If you want to have a party at your home to celebrate fine, you pay for it. But with costs and problems today, the only thing that we should be paying for as taxpayers are being Americans.

I think this is a glaring example of why the legal Hispanic community needs to sever their ties with the illegals. Due to the marches with illegal protesters waving Mexican flags and making demands for benefits reserved for legal citizens of this country, people are now so outraged they are associating Hispanic with illegal.

Racists groups such as La Raza have only exacerbated this problem. It's time for legal Hispanic citizens of this country to stand up and oppose this illegal invasion. If they don't, this sentiment will only worsen.

The KKK hasn't disbanded due to lack of interest, so I would think this group of racist bigots won't either...

That tells me that the other 76 vendors are probably illegal and don't want to get caught.

Could be very true since current enforcement efforts weren't what they are now last year or other past years.
