St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Long Beach, CA

August 26, 2007 - During church services, a small group of ralliers staged a solemn and silent protest, targeting the St. Luke's Episcopal Church leadership for giving sanctuary to an illegal alien.

As we proceeded with our solemn rally, we noticed that there were many more church goers - a major increase - than we had observed during the previous weeks at our rallies.

CHURCH GOER TELLS US LILIANA IS NO LONGER AT ST. LUKE'S
The majority of the rank and file church members at St. Luke's have been very kind to us - offer us coffee, some tell us they support us, etc.

One of the parishioners - who was late to the church service, approached us.

She entered into a conversation with one of our ralliers and then told her, "Liliana is no longer here at our church." We asked her if she knew where Liliana is at this time, and she said she did not know.

This announcement created quite a hubbub on our rally line! Minuteman Raymond Herrera and Lupe's son sought out a meeting with the church leadership, photo above in the church entry hall.

The church hierarchy confirmed that Liliana - an illegal alien who presented false identification and posed as an American citizen - is no longer at St. Luke's.

The church hierarchy did not reveal where Liliana is living at this time - merely confirmed she is on longer at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
