7/22/2010 CNN AND ILLEGALS LEAVING AZ.

Yestereday, CNN interviewed a Latino family leaving Arizona due to impending legislation in that state. I listened in disbelief. The female CNN interviewing found it necessary to converse with the mother and wife in the family in Spanish. The husband of this lady was a legal Latino who is fluent in English. All of the couples children were born in the U.S. They were self-employed business owners catering to Hispanic customers. Due to the Hispanic population fleeing the state and the economy in Az., their business had suffered to the point that they could not continue to operate, and are fearful of SB 1070. This family had been in the U.S. eighteen (1 years, and this woman CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH. The CNN interviewer was looking for sympathy for the plight of this family. Sorry, but I for one am not sympathetic. Unwillingness to be able to articulate in English by illegals AND LEGALS in this country is rampant with this group. They want all the advantages this great country affords, but refuse to assimilate both in language and allegiance.......and if you will, they will not accept "the whole enchilada"! Providing press "1 for" and "2 for" and state and government forms in Spanish in worse than enabling an alcoholic.

Sounds like CNN was setting up its reporter to cater to a Latino audience in this story. Why else would she conduct the interview in Spanish to persons who were capable of speaking English? It's another pointed reason that Americans are disgusted with the mainstream media's tricks.

It's not that Latinos cannot speak English, it's that they DON'T WANT TO USE IT. Why? Because it's their working mechanism to alienate others.

Well our Presidente wishes for us to welcome them by learning their language so maybe they are trying to force us to learn it. After all, we are all rich Americans and we have the resources to pay for teaching ourselves and those poor people (most of whom are doing better than us anymore) they don't have any resources to learn English.

When "illegal" becomes an industry and entire sections of cities are taken over by Hispanics in every State of the Union and our schools are all but shut down and everything has to have Spanish written on it and nearly every crime on TV involves Hispanics...don't tell me there are only 12 million of them here.

I used to contribute to "Habitat for Humanity" ....until they had someone on the news who got awarded a house...... He started with "GRACIAS" and then proceeded in Spanish after that..... sorry....but if I was given a house, I would learn to say "THANK-YOU"....Habitat for Humanity has NOT gotten a penny and will NEVER get a penny from me again
