You should go see it at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Fl. It is disguisting. My friend had her baby there in December and told me some of the things she seen. I see how they use the Emergency Department as their primary care doctor. They have a clinic on Pembroke Road and it is mostly used by illegals. I have a friend who is a police officer that does an off duty there and he has told me how they drive without licenses to the clinic with their kid(s). There have been numerous hit and runs in the parking lot as well. The worse I heard was from a physician's assistant at Broward Medical Center. She told me they were doing heart surgery on illegals on a regualr basis becuase the ones operated on smoked crack which damaged their hearts.

Last night in Obama's speech, I cringed when he was talking about health care for everyone, by everyone, we all know he means illegals. How and why should we pay for them?

I am so sorry about the Florida hospitol being saddled with these illegals. They must be beyond frustrated. Here in New York, two more hospitols closed down recently and they even said it was because of the influx of illegals. It seems the Fed wants to dictate the policy but they don't finacially supoort it.

It's bad here in NC, too. I recently had my little boy in the ER(after taking him first to the dr.) and there were Spanish speaking people all over the place with bilingual signs everywhere. This is a private hospital, not the county one, but I guess no hospital refuses people who come to the ER. I paid $150.00 for a copay and the lady at the checkout verified that Spanish speaking ones would likely pay nothing. This is insanity.

Has this been in the national news or has the media ignored it for the most part? Personally, I haven't heard anything about two hospitals closing in New York due to being overburdened by illegal aliens. These are the sort of reports every American taxpayer needs to hear about.

hattiecat: I agree that Americans should not be paying if the illegal don't pay. Recently, an American family member had to have emergency medical care and gave my phone number. I was getting calls constantly from someone. I told her to stop calling me and I could not believe that they give free medical care to illegals and this hard work barely making it American dad is burden with this cost. I know for a fact I have heard this American say, my job is cutting back and I don't know if I will have a job tomorrow.

The governments and big global corporations are in our hospitals. And they all want to destroy Americans financially.

Maybe we should just stop paying our hospital bills! That will wake them up in congress that Americans are not going to stand for this anymore.

My hospital bill will be high.

1991 I had open heart, and I had insurance ( can you believe that a American getting insurance? ) And we also went to court, to get me a medical card. My insurance paid for 3/4 of the hospital, and the medical card paid the rest. My heart surgery cost 150,000.00. Then my blue cross, dumped me like a hot potatoe.
