Everyone in Wisconsin 8th District, this is the response I received back for letting him know my view on the recent amnesty bill. If you are from the 8th district, help by letting Representative Kagen (MD) know that the people who voted for him (or would in the future) stand against Illegal Alien Amnesty.

Dear Jesse,

Thank you for allowing me to listen to your concerns regarding immigration. I appreciate hearing your views on this important issue.

Many of your neighbors have also raised concerns about the impact uncontrolled immigration and its effects on our country, and I share those concerns. Never before has our immigration crisis been more apparent than it is today. I believe that there are three things we must ensure to solve this critical problem: (1) secure and protect our borders; (2) enforce and obey our laws, and (3) no cutting in line and no amnesty - period.

As this debate moves forward in Congress, and numerous immigration bills come up for debate, I will closely scrutinize the proposals. I will also be sure to keep your views and the economic well-being of our nation in mind.

Thank you again for sharing your concerns with me. By working together, we will build a better future for everyone.

Sincerely,

Steve Kagen, MD
Member of Congress

Hopefully we in Wisconsin can help in no amnesty and others will see where American Citizens stand. I also let him know, for the record, have a couple of family members who are first or second generation legal immigrants. I let him know that I love legal immigration. I respect (and have several friends) who have come from other countries legally.

Secure the Borders
Enforce the laws
Streamline the legal process while preserving background checks
Penalize those who cross illegally
Remove the "Anchor" law lottery
