STUDY: Immigrants are Not the Cause of High Unemployment and Low Wages Among Minority Workers
Despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, some are still trying to make the claim that deporting millions of unauthorized immigrants would free up jobs for unemployed American workers, and minority workers specifically. However, the best available evidence suggests that there is no correlation between high levels of immigration and high unemployment among native-born workers.
Immigration is not the cause of poor employment prospects for American minorities. According to noted scholar, Gerald Jaynes, the impact on less-educated native-born workers of competition with immigrant workers “is swamped by a constellation of other factors (such as declining factory jobs and other blue-collar employment).â€

Of course a puff piece written by ethnocentrics at "hispanically speaking news would make bogus claims on behalf of their ethnicity. According to The Civil Rights Commission the ethnocentrics are being less than honest:

Illegal Immigration: The Impact on Wages and Employment of Black Workers

Before addressing the specific issue of illegal immigration and its economic effects on black Americans, the broad subject needs to be placed in perspective. No issue has affected the economic well-being of African Americans more that the phenomenon of immigration and its related policy manifestations.

A person has to be insane to believe Americans jobs are not being displaced by undocumented aliens.
Allow me to further explain why I depute the author of above news article.
When employers have vacant work positions, they will not hire citizens, most employers save jobs for undocumented immigrants.
20 millions or more legal citizens out of work, and we have 12 or more millions of illegal immigrants employed, is this stealing jobs from citizens? Yes it is!!When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:

Note the title of the article?
"Immigrants are Not the Cause of High Unemployment and Low Wages Among Minority Workers"
What the hell do "immigrants" have to do with this? The subject is obviously ILLEGAL ALIENS. I am sick of the ethnocetrics and lefties that lie by using incorrect words.

Illegals contribute greatly to the unemployment of American citizens. Right now, in my neighborhood, there are three residential construction jobs going on. There are Spanish speaking crews on each of these jobs-I hear them every day when I walk my dog. Dont know for sure if they're illegal but I feel certain there are Americans who would have taken those jobs if they could have.

This is why ICE needs to crack down hard on these small construction and landscaping businesses-construction has been one of the main reasons illegals have flocked to the U.S. and most of them work for these small subcontracting companies.
