By the way, did you know Ted Cruz is an official co-sponsor of the FairTax Act of 2015 in the US Senate, S 155? Yep, sure is.

Nope, actually it wouldn't. Both Trump and Cruz are smart enough to know pushing for the so-called fair tax plan would be a waste of time and energy. I've got to give them both credit for being smart enough not to attempt to ride a dead horse in their campaign.

As for Cruz co-sponsoring the legislation, it's like I've said over and over again, no candidate is perfect and that includes Trump and Cruz. Those two just happen to be the only real choices we have (IMO).

Cruz ran for the US Senate as a FairTax advocate and once there became a Co-Sponsor of the FairTax Act, then 3 years later decides he wants to be Prezinut, dumps his FairTax and devises the weirdest tax plan I've ever read that repeals the payroll tax without any replacement revenue to fund SS and Medicare claiming they'll be funded with General Revenue without any additional General Revenue income taxes to pay for it.

Very strange.
