My solution to this Illegal Immigration - (common sense?)

Comments are welcome: If majority agrees, can someone pls get this idea to senate. Thank you

First off, Just want to say Hi to all. This illegal Illegal Immigration mess is just a nightmare, where a solution is very simple and straight forward.
Remember this solution is to fixed the illegals that are here already and the businesses that are exploiting the illegals, all the way to the government making money from taxes of the illegals working, and best of all to stop any new illegal immigrants coming to the United States.

    Here goes:
    1) Any company or business that hires illegal immigrants (without guest worker program) will get huge fines (thousands of dollars) and even jail times.
Reason: The above law will stop new illegals immigrants coming to the United States since there will be no work available. (PERIOD).

Whats gonna happen to the illegal immigrants that are in the United States already?
    2) A guest worker program will be provided for the illegal immigrants that are here already. Lets be practical here, the illegals that are here already are working and basically helping the companys, factories, fields, constructions, etc.. etc..
So its not favorable to our economy and to the businesses to suddenly vanished all this illegal workers. Since no one will be hiring illegal immigrants, every illegal immigrants "here" in the United States, will be force to apply for a guest worker program to work.

Guest worker program and its sole purpose: (for illegal immigrants in US)
    A) The guest worker program are temporary, 2 yrs to 5 yrs. and can be renewed (for a few illegals). The reason for renewal is for the hard labor, working in fields, that mostly illegal immigrants works and where work are needed. (Basically to fill the holes and gaps in our job industry).
But majority of the illegals that are here, once the 2 yrs has expired will have to go back to there homeland. (Since there is no work for them in the US) and the guest worker program will not be renewed.

    B) The guest worker program will also benefit the government since they can now collect taxes from the illegals working.
The companys that are currently hiring illegals will not go into shock that all of a sudden all there employees are gone, which in turn will affect our economy. However, by having a guest worker program. It can prepare this companys that have illegal workers to start hiring legal workers oncce it gets close to 2 years and there illegal employees could possibly be deported.

    3) No more priviledges for the illegal immigrants. No free healthcare, medicals, hospitals, schools. etc.. etc..
Basically all hospitals can have the right to refuse medical care to all illegal immigrants. And all schools can refuse any illegal immigrants without proper documentations.

The reason why the illegal immigrants come to the United States is because of the Work we gave them, Free healtcare, Free Schools, etc.. etc..
If all the above laws/ideas are passed, in 3-5 years term we wont have the illegal immigrant problems.

    Just my 2c.

Now if you just get rid of the guest worker portion they will ALL go home on there own. Once they are in there own countries they can apply for a work program and that can be discussed once we know the true extent of the need and not just the corporate greed.

I like your plan. The one problem we have is that earlier illegals set themselves into jobs in social services, welfare, teaching,etc... They are in positions to deceive us in compliance to law. We'll have to clean house in order to prevent that. Also, did anyone see Lou Dobbs nail the Attorney General on CNN. They were talking about his family history and he said his grandparents were born in Mexico and came to the US. Dobbs asked if they came legally or illegally. He said that their status was confused. Sure... They were illegal and we know it. With people like that in position and others, it will be very hard to enforce any laws.

Americans are going to lay down and take this. Stick their heads in the sand and pretend it isn't happening. That is already clear, unfortunately. I haven't seen enough americans doing anything so far to make a difference or to even be noticed.

I dont agree on this guest worker program that bring more immigrants outside the United States for work. Which is started all this mess. I think we have a good work force already in the US and enough "legal" immigrants coming to this country every day!
We have to focus on totally stopping any new illegals coming to the US and to find a solution to "slowly" send the illegals that are in the US back to there homeland. But, to suddenly make them all a felon, and dont give them chance to prepare how to get back home will just mean chaos.

welcome sanarac. This basicly is what it already is. They never enforced it and that's why we are where we are. Government didn't do their jobs and the "guest workers" didn't do theirs. I hate to be mean but there should be no reason for the rest of the workers clan to be here if all they are here for is temporary work.

My daughter had a friend whose dad was a police officer and trained dogs. He was from Pureto Rico and a legal citizen here. Because of his race he and other officers were offered extreemly well paying jobs in Egypt and that area because they could blend in better for the job they were sent to do. They had to sign on for 2 years and got a short visit back to the states about every 6 mos. The money was exceptional so the family agreed to support his decision to go. The family was not allowed to go. Not even for a visit. The only contact was e-mail so it could be monitored. Now who wouldn't like the chance to see the great pyrimads and all....but they could not go. I felt bad because the kids were not allowed to even say where their dad was or what he was doing till his time was over. But that was the price they had to pay for the job. Didn't hear any rift of "tearing apart the family", as if these kids didn't need their dad as much as some of these workers. They weren't offered anything "special". He wasn't given a path to citizenship to Egypt just because he worked there. So I personally have no concern for these guys who came here illegally.

We already have all the laws necessary to fix this situation.

They just are not being enforced - they have never been enforced to any degree.

What good is more laws, regulations, etc., going to do.

There are plenty of good ideas for fixing this - the problem is getting the government to do what it is supposed to do - enforce.

We really don't need to kill any more trees printing up more laws that will not be enforced.
