ONE OF OUR (IFIRE) ADVOCATE'S SON'S INJURED BY IED IN IRAQ!

    Dear ALIPACERS,

The son of Cheree Calabro, Co-Founder and State Director of the Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement, was injured by and IED in Iraq about two weeks ago. Her son is going to live but has had to have some surgeries.

Please go to the IFIRE web site and let them know we stand behind our own (they have a forum you can post messages).

Cheree has been a valuable and tireless advocate for immigration enforcement...let's let her know we appreciate her and support her in her family's time of need. Let's let her son Troy know we support and appreciate his service to the US too--he deserves it.

I just found out about this. I didn't see any similar threads here at ALIPAC so I thought I'd let you know if you don't already.

    The web site is http://www.IFIRE.org

I am sure their family appreciates the notes you are sending them and their soldier son.

Cheree sent me an email yesterday about her son. It seems that his eye surgery is not healing as well as they hoped and he may lose vision in his eye.

Although he was wearing goggles, the shrapnel from the bomb went through it and into his eye (although the gogles probably slowed the shrapnel and kept it from going into his brain).

He also has shrapnel wonds on other parts of his body.
