    • President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio,

A tea party challenger to House Speaker John A. Boehner was fired Monday from his job at a Christian university after running an ad laden with sexual innuendo, playing up the notion that the Ohio Republican is suffering from “electile dysfunction.”

The “When the Moment is Right” ad from J.D. Winteregg parodies the ads for Cialis erectile dysfunction drugs and casts Mr. Boehner as a conservative sellout while making fun of his name and personal tics.

“Signs of electile dysfunction may include extreme skin discoloration, the inability to punch oneself out of a wet paper bag, or maintain a spine in the face of liberal opposition … smoking, and golf,” a narrator says. “If you have a Boehner lasting longer than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention.”

The ad concludes: “Winteregg, because Boehner shouldn’t count his chickens before they hatch.”
The ad went viral and cost Mr. Winteregg his teaching job at Cedarville University, a small Christian school outside Dayton.

Mark D. Weinstein, Cedarville University spokesman, confirmed that Mr. Winteregg was let go, saying he had been an adjunct professor at of French for three years and last week “concluded his teaching responsibilities.”

“Mr. Winteregg in his recent political campaign video did not represent the views or values of Cedarville University,” Mr. Weinstein said.

Mr. Winteregg was tapped earlier this year by the Tea Party Leadership Fund to carry the tea party flag against Mr. Boehner in the May 6 primary for the 8th Congressional District in western Ohio.
Mr. Winteregg’s ad also includes footage of Mr. Boehner playing golf with President Obama and pokes fun at Mr. Boehner’s perpetual tan skin color.
