Central Americans Smuggling Asians for Big Money

If this isn't something that deserves the full wrath of our society, please tell me what is.

Fact:Even though the United States offers numerous programs of assistance, both through government channels and through private means, Central American countries will not effectively control their law enforcement problems, preferring to allow people to escape to the still-secure United States.

Fact:Central Americans pay thousands per person to illegally enter the US, when overall costs of living and even capital goods are remarkably low in those countries. Money paid to a smuggler could be used to start a commercial enterprise. Central Americans boast about how they, even if deported, have offspring who can stay in the US with other people, even distant relatives. It is essentially a family enterprise that rewards them with remittance money derived from the US economy, educational and health security for the minors, and the promise of future migration and corresponding benefits through sponsorship by their US born offspring.

Fact: Smuggling has turned high level, professional and profitable.
Human smugglers encourage new 'clients' and organize to oppose policies that would harm their business.

But apparently that is not even enough. Here is a story of Central Americans going worldwide to recruit people they can traffic, for a profit, into the US. I would like to see what the "progressive open-border advocates" say to defend this.

Guatemalan Recruited Illegal Immigrants from India, Smuggled Them Through Central America to U.S.

    by Caroline May25 Apr 201617
A woman from Guatemala has been sentenced to three years in prison for her role in a smuggling operation that recruited illegal immigrants in India and smuggled them through Central America into the United States.

According to the Department of Justice, Rosa Astrid Umanzor-Lopez was extradited to the U.S. from Guatemala and pled guilty to conspiracy to smuggle illegal immigrants to the U.S. U.S. District Judge Ewing Werlein, Jr. sentenced Umanzor-Lopez to 36 months in prison on Friday. She is expected to be deported once she is released from prison.
Umanzor-Lopez admitted to officials that she and her conspirators recruited Indian nationals, willing to pay high sums of money, to be smuggled illegally into the U.S. from January 2011 and Feb. 4, 2014, the day of her arrest in Guatemala. The scheme also involved carrying out the smuggling through a network from South America, through Central America, and into the U.S.
“For their smuggling operations, Umanzor-Lopez and her co-conspirators used a network of facilitators to transport groups of undocumented migrants from India through South America and Central America and then into the United States by air travel, automobiles, water craft and foot, she admitted,” the Justice Department wrote in a release.
“Umanzor-Lopez also admitted that many of these smuggling events involved illegal entry into the United States via the U.S.-Mexico border near McAllen and Laredo, Texas,” it added.
Three of Umanzor-Lopez’s conspirators have already been sentenced and convicted and one remains a fugitive, according to the Justice Department.
The phenomena of illegal immigrants other than Mexicans and Central Americans accessing the U.S. via the southern border has generated renewed concern in recent years due to threats from terrorist groups seeking to entry the U.S. Many have pointed to the porous southern border as a significant vulnerability to keeping such threatening forces out of the country.

It is disgusting and it continues every day. Why do we have a president, a congress? The incompetence comes from the top and trickles down to the corrupt politicians while they all collect their big pay checks.

Food shopping - living in a major city and centrally located, one can take advantage of several food stores. Organics can be found at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and smaller selections at chains Acme, Shoprite.

The Shoprite is a little south of center city and always had its neighborhood locals as their base. They were a little taken aback by the center city people shopping (outsiders) but NOW - yesterday I was met by 12 women, girls in long head scarfs being pushy and very loud. Then came across several orientals with their germ masks on.

Foreign languages spoken every where you go and very loud - it is annoying and un-American. learn English, that is the language of this country. School children are mainly foreigners too & all sorts of monies has to be spent for "special" language teachers. That used to be the responsibility of the parent to hire a tutor so their child can acclimate better. Now, we pay for that.

It is creepy and revealing as to the changes with the super influx of foreigners, legal & illegal. Same with an oriental market nearby, they have other foreigners shopping there now with head scarfs and 6-8 kids per family and again very loud and pushy, like no one else exists.
