    It's an on going investigation.

    Let's see where it goes.

Oh good, go get 'em. This is a huge problem and has been since 1985. But, one does need to remember, these crooks don't issue themselves their Legal Permanent Residence status, USCIS does that. So when ICE gets its panties in a bunch over marriage fraud, it only has USCIS to blame for it, because that's its own sister agency that gave them the greed cards based on phony documentation to begin with.

Sure, no problem, and I'm glad they're at least catching 1 of the couples who may be guilty of marriage fraud. But you see my point, right? This crap goes on every day, and all of it needs to stop. We need Vitter and/or King's bills passed and signed into law to stop the nonsense of automatic birthright citizenship to children of non-citizens unless they're legitimate green card holders and legal permanent residents. We need to deport all illegal aliens and get them out of here, but we need the resources of the States and local law enforcement to do it. We also need a 10 Year Moratorium on all Immigration, perhaps longer, to sort out this disaster, fix it, and reset the system so the federal government is not handing out visas and work permits to foreigners that come here and steal jobs from Americans, deflate our wages and salaries and burden our public coffers, commit crimes, schemes and plots, who don't think right, because they believe their above the law and everything is about them, who run drugs in and haul our money out, and yes plan terrorist crimes. It's not that much that we need to do to fix this once and for all and set things right.

And the bright spot about this birthing tourism action by ICE and others is that it highlights this issue in the news and may well lead to gaining enough support in Congress to get one of the bills passed that ends this stupid practice by the US government. Maybe the DNC will put the pressure on Obama to sign it if it gets to his desk because the Democrats may as well hang it up if he vetoes that bill, a bill that would end making mockery of US citizenship. That could be the bill that changes everything, so I hope it passes with large majorities and Obama is compelled to sign it into law.

There are lots of people and businesses who either don't file or file false tax returns. In fact, there's 8 to 10 million illegal aliens who are guilty of that every year that involves tens of billions of dollars in unpaid tax and illegal tax credit refunds. The income tax needs to be repealed and replaced with the FairTax with the Rebate for US citizens and legal permanent residents. It would help a lot if USCIS did their job and didn't hand out legal permanent resident green cards to people who aren't eligible. That would be a good place to start enforcing US immigration law. In the meantime, since it's clear USCIS is handing out visas and green cards to anyone who wants them, we need a 10 Year Moratorium on Immigration until this whole mess is sorted out, the problems fixed with both illegal and "legal" immigration and the system reset so this disaster is corrected and never happens again in the United States.

US authorities crack down on Chinese maternity tourism

As US authorities step up efforts to crack down on Chinese maternity tourism, a scene from the 2013 Chinese box office hit Finding Mr. Right played out in Southern California recently.
In the film, the female lead played by Tang Wei, successfully conceals her pregnancy from customs officials on entry into the US, but is forced to change her plans on discovering that the post-natal care center she booked has been shut down by the authorities.

On March 3, three days after more than 20 Chinese-run post-natal care centers were shut down in Riverside, California, a local judge summoned pregnant Chinese women to appear in court.

Deng Hong, a Chinese lawyer practicing in California said officials are currently investigating about 50 post-natal care centers and 500 pregnant Chinese women.

A Chinese post-natal care center proprietor surnamed Yu told Caixin Online that local police had informed him probes and raids of post-natal care centers are to be stepped up and unlicensed operators shut down.

Police also said that licensed operators could be fined for harboring individuals found guilty of immigration fraud, social welfare fraud or money laundering, Yu said.

Under US law, although it is not illegal for pregnant foreign nationals to give birth on US soil, it is illegal to conceal a pregnancy when applying for an entry visa.

US immigration officials said that the stepped-up investigation into Chinese post-natal care centers is aimed at countering a wide range of criminal activity including immigration fraud, where individuals have entered the US on tourist visas under false pretenses, defrauding social welfare benefits, where post-natal care centers help clients apply for public services such as medicare and money laundering, where post natal-care centers receive payments from their clients through bank wires and checks for illicit services rendered.

Yu said that he always advises clients who want to give birth in the US to be honest with the immigration authorities and go through the proper channels. Many are reluctant to tell the truth, however.

A-msm.com, a website that rates Chinese-run post-natal care centers in the US estimates that over the past decade the number of infants born to Chinese nationals in the US has increased by a factor of 47. The website estimates that in 2013 about 20,000 Chinese women gave birth in the US, a figure that nearly doubled in 2014.

Meanwhile, post-natal care operators said that although the heavy-handed action of the authorities had caused a significant downturn in business, it also gave legitimate operations an opportunity to differentiate themselves from their unlicensed rivals and to carve out a new market based on higher service standards.

Under US law, although it is not illegal for pregnant foreign nationals to give birth on US soil, it is illegal to conceal a pregnancy when applying for an entry visa.
If it's not illegal for pregnant foreign nationals to give birth on US soil, why is concealing a pregnancy when applying for an entry visa illegal? Why are women tourists questioned about such a private matter? If they answer yes, will their visa be denied? This just shows how screwed up our practices are on this issue. It's no one's business if a pregnant woman is traveling to the US for tourism, business or medical services. The only issue that is our business is whether or not the person intends to claim US citizenship for the newborn, and this should be denied, absolutely, and because it's not being denied, we need Vitter's or King's bill to stop this nonsense that would deny US citizenship for children born in the US, except for citizens and legal permanent residents, and we need that bill now, not because we want to change the 14th Amendment, but to bring government action and practices in line with the 14th Amendment, so it is only granting automatic birthright citizenship to those under our jurisdiction which are US citizens and legal permanent residents, no one else.

It is also our business if there is a cost associated with the pregnancy that sticks US taxpayers with the bill, and again, such pregnancy services under Medicaid should be denied. In fact, all pregnancy services should be denied under Medicaid except for US citizens and legal permanent residents who were pregnant before they or their spouse lost a job. Medicaid rules need to be changed to restrict this medical coverage to these persons in these situations only.

A fair question for any visa, student, tourist or otherwise could be do you have any medical condition that could result in medical services needed in the US during your stay for which you have no funds to pay for? This is a fair and reasonable question that could and should be asked of anyone wishing to enter the US. In fact, I would imagine that there is already some question about medical issues in the visa entry process, so there's no fair reason to pry into a woman's private affairs concerning a condition the result of which is legal under US law. That is discrimination against women. And to be making a big deal about this over Chinese women, when millions of pregnant Caucasian illegal aliens, most of them Hispanic or Latino women pour over the bordesr either pregnant at the time or pregnant soon after they arrive are "welcomed" and offered deferred action, amnesty, automatic birthright citizenship for the newborns without question, and then given legal permanent residence to raise their anchor baby, and then chain migration for the rest of the family without question, is race discrimination by the US government.

To stop any of it, you must stop all of it, not select one race to pick on for immigration law violations while giving another the Moon and Medicaid when they violated US immigration law as well. It all has to stop without regard to race. And even picking on the businesses that provide the services to the Chinese women is a stretch, because all the illegal aliens were brought here by drug cartels and their human smuggling operations who are guilty of tax evasion, immigration fraud, drug offenses, money laundering, social welfare fraud, and on and on and on and on. And also to focus on what appears to be the primary concern which is tax fraud is laughable in my opinion, when the illegal alien group is advocated and promoted and protected and perhaps even funded by these tax fraud 501 C 3 "charities" that are costing the US billions every year in income tax through the phony tax deductible donations. The feds seem obsessed with the fact that the Chinese couple running these birthing tourism businesses have a Bentley and a BMW. Oh big woopie. I worked for a business for awhile, who had an owner who had a Bentley and a Porsche to show off to his clients when he couldn't pay his office rent on time.

    The compelling issues are these:

    1. Automatic birthright citizenship to children of non-citizens who are not legal permanent residents. This needs to stopped and stopped now, which will stop all the ilk and nonsense that accompanies this outrageous practice by the US government that has in effect made a pure mockery of US citizenship. NumbersUSA has been working to stop this outrage for years and it's time Congress listened and took action.

    2. Medicaid payments associated with the delivery of children born to non-citizens and non-legal permanent residents using the automatic birthright citizenship practice to qualify these births for coverage. This is pure madness, has been going on for years and years and it must stop and stop now. Medicaid shouldn't even be paying for deliveries of US children, because people who qualify for Medicaid on assets and income should not be having children they can't afford to raise. This is pure stupidity by Medicaid. Medicaid pregnancy services need to be restricted to citizens and legal permanent residents who were pregnant before they lost a job or their spouse lost a job and should only cover that pregnancy, not future ones.

So what's the big deal about this when hundreds of thousands of anchor babies are born every year to illegal aliens from other countries who all skip out on all of their hospital bills? I don't get the zealous attention and expense being paid to prosecute these "Chinese" women by the federal government when there's been millions of these anchor babies born to illegal aliens for decades from Caucasian and Caucasian Latino countries as well as from African origins.

It truly strikes me as a discriminatory attack on the Chinese based on their race and national origin. The 14th Amendment demands that no one be discriminated against on that basis by any government in the United States which means if you prosecute one race group for violating US immigration law, then you must prosecute all race groups with the same vengeance, standards, policies, treatment, prosecutions and punishment.

And numbers-wise, this is truly an example of swallowing an elephant and choking on a gnat.

    Shame!
